Great hotel in perfect location
A fantastic hotel well located across the road from Newcastle beach. I recommend getting a room with a beach view - a perfect way to wake up in the morning. Even offers free parking and laundry facilities.

Brillant for Newcastle beach stay. Pay for an ocean front parking is tight take a smaller car if you have the choice. Rooms aren’t massive but location staff and everything else make up for that. Will stay again.

We had a great experience. Scored a great price and then was offered a free upgrade on arrival. Staff were super friendly and the view was amazing! Dinning option downstairs was fantastic, with plenty of other options just a short stroll away. Parking was easy and convenient. Will definitely stay again!

Wonderful location facing the beach with easy walking to a number of features of Newcastle. The whole area, including the hotel, is quiet and relaxing, particularly in relation to Sydney where we live. I can’t think of anything we didn’t like!

Beds need upgrdaing and restaurant too expensive
Rooms dated, king beds only available in harbour view rooms. We wanted ocean view so had to settle for twin beds. They even rang on our day of arrival asking if we really needed the single bed in our room. That would have left us with a queen bed which we had avoided by booking a twin,with no compensation offered! Are you kidding

We love staying at Noah’s, and have stayed there several times over the last few years, mainly because of its close proximity to and gorgeous views of the beach as well as the city, and the comfortable rooms. Unfortunately we were a little disappointed this time. Due to a function at the hotel, dinner was not available the night we stayed, and we struggled to find an alternative restaurant that was actually open anywhere in the area, possibly because it was a Sunday night. The only option at that time (6.30pm) was room service, which was quite expensive and only offered a very limited menu. Additionally, we had opted for a buffet breakfast as part of our itinerary, but discovered that the hot breakfast dishes were well and truly cold, because the power supply to the Bain Maries had shorted out and staff had not noticed. It was only 8am so not that late to have breakfast. Considering we paid an extra $110 for 2 for breakfast service, this was disappointing.

Hotel stay was good. Restaurant, service all good. The only drawback to this hotel is parking below the hotel is very cramped. Alternative hotel parking available beside hotel.

I was on the top level beach view. Small room but the balcony and view makes it seem bigger. Staff are friendly. Place is clean. Only downside was it’s a bit noisy starting around 7am in the hall way as you can hear the cleaning staff talking and making noises with cleaning equipment. This goes on until about lunch time. However they were very friendly and helpful. Have and would still return again.
