The room with a balcony was the best investment ever! One block off Bourbon and walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Staff was amazing and everyone was so nice.

The staff was great; very helpful and friendly. However we did request a cab for our 5:30 am departure but had to reorder in the morning; luckily that didn't take to long.It very conveniently located and was always greeted by staff upon our return.The beds were very comfortable and had ample towels. We did have trouble keeping a constant temperature in the room even though it had been looked at twice. The curtains and the lamp shade were torn which made it look a little unwelcoming.

It’s a really amazing hotel with a beautiful courtyard and salt water heated pool (did not feel very heated tho). It was such a great location which is what mattered to us! Walked to Jackson Square, all over town, and we didn’t have to drive once! Concierge Kristine was also really cool and very helpful! The only thing we didn’t love is room felt warm and beds were not soft enough. And television didn’t offer much. But it was SO CLEAN which matters so much to us. Overall, loved our stay here!

I've stayed in the French Quarter before at a different hotel. I did valet park the last time but this time my companions (who were driving) chose not to valet park due to the high price of the valet and had to find a public parking garage nearby. At one point on their walk back encountered a group of people that made them very uncomfortable and were followed part of the way by someone in a truck. I realize that a lot of partying goes on in the FQ and that due to the layout of the city in that area there is not much to be done to rectify this but feel that others who have not visited NOLA before need to be aware.
