Very boring place,No park, surrounding construction people can peep into the windows if we open the window. we couldnot get any sunlight from outside, or watch views. least amenities, poor breakfast, huge amount collected from us. Its normally Rs.2000 only per day. The hotel people told not to book through Expedia since it costs humongous amount but very least amenities. Same type of rooms costs only Rs.1700 to Rs. 2000 per day. Even if it is a seasonal/wk end it should not cost more than 3000 . Totally its not a happy experience for us, since our expectations were not met since having paid Rs.9000 we did not get the pleasant experience. No room services for food since we came late after a long wait at the brindavan gardens parking. I do not suggest this place to anyone for high cost low value experience.

1. Close to Zoo and Mall of Mysore 2. Quiet area 3. Car parking place available 4. Expensive breakfast at 225 per person, unless of course you will have a big breakfast to skip Lunch. 5. Time to renovate 6. Staff are good

Nicely located hotel near Mysore Palace .
Hotel will suit those transiting through Mysore or for a short stay. Location is very nice and so is cleanliness. Good value for money. I stayed twice. travel desk is value add. Parking is a benefit.

A US$15 at $55. Old smelly bedding and rud staff
It is not a 3 star and really is a 2. Charging $43 + $12 fees fooled me thinking it's a upscale 3 star. It's worth US$15. Staff is rud and don't try to explain or fix less to apologies. Wifi was great and did not drop out. They charge luxury tax where there is no luxury and just a basic room and an ugly shower. Their pictures is not what it is today and maybe was from opening day. Looks over 20 years old. Rouph bed with smelly sheets.

Understaffed hotel!! Not worth the high price! Bedsheets had not been changed. Pillow covers were dirty and used. Plastic cheap bathroom doors with broken handle.

Terrible room condition when checked in.
Dirty floors, stained and dirty bed sheets covers, dirty pillows with hairs when entered into room after check-in. Asked for change of room. Person at the reception came and saw the condition and gave a new room. But that new room was also in similar condition. Then they cleaned that room before moving into that. Will never go to Ginger hotels in the future.

Its a nice budget hotel with minimum facilities. very near to zoo, palace, bus stand, mall of mysore, kaaranji lake.. cleanliness is good and breakfast is veey good with limited options.

Hotel nearest to Zoo and Palace.
Hotel is found ok. Bath room is not up to the mark. Room size is very small and congested. South indian foods were not available and complimentary break fast is not available. For a day its ok.

Ginger Mysore hotel proved to be a very good choice for our family trip during the last week of Dec.2013. The check in was smooth and fast. The Manger, Mr Sunil was very kind and courteous and was guiding every new visitor to Mysore with travel tips. The only downside was the non-functional wi-fi. However, the whenever I approached the front desk staff permitted me to access internet through their office systems. I did not feel the absence of wi-fi.The hotels.com booking site does not forewarn about the absence of complimentary breakfast at the booking window. There was a huge embarrassment when my Malaysian guests went to have their breakfast and were asked to pay for their breakfast. They found it fishy,believing the conventional practice of "complimentary breakfast". When the matter was raised, both the restaurant staff and the counter staff clarified the position in a polite manner and said the booking did not include complimentary breakfast. However, when we extended our stay for a day due to non-availability of confirmed train tickets for our return journey, the manger was kind enough to compensate the above with a complimentary breakfast for all the members on the last day of stay. Contrary to popular belief, the room alloted to us was not small.I strongly recommend Ginger Mysore for those who are keen to get good value for money, clean rooms and great service.

Doesn't look like 3* hotel / Taj Group of Hotels? Rooms were not looking good and wi-fi was not working and need to complain everytime. Hotel Manager provided the worst room to us which was refurbished and there was no transparency. Thought of cancelling my third day in that hotel. Room rate is also fluctuating which creates demand but not upto the expectation. for this amount, there are good hotels in mysore with Complimentary breakfast which is not available in Ginger.

There are very good hotels available on lesser tariff in Mysore. Not worth for Rs 3800 for a day for single room. Wi Fi signal very weak. Attached Restaurant and Coffee Shop are very good. room service better.

Our stay was extremely comfortable and well worth the rate charged. Everything was perfect especially the room and attached bathroom. Two separate beds in the room was a bit of a damper though. Should have a system where they can be joined together. Top marks to the hotel. The buffet in the restaurant was also worth it. Had lunch and dinner there.

The picture of the hotel shown on the web site is nothing like the real hotel building. The facilities and service is not good enough for a 3 star hotel level. This hotel is okay just to sleep a night, but way over charged based on what I paid. should be rated down to a 2 star hotel.

It is just a hotel to stay. Suitable for those who do not spend much time in hotel during their vacation. Very limited dine services. Very cheap room infrastructure. Better alternatives are definitely available when compare with this hotel.

Comfortable,no non-sense stay. Very close to the zoo and located fairly centrally in the city. Breakfast is good, though we did not have it in our package. All in all, good value for money property for a night halt in Mysore.

3 stars hotel, relatively cheap and tidy. Personal is friendly and helpful. Restaurant is simple, only for food. No alcohol. Coffee is reasonably good. Secured by police. There is transportation desk, they can organise a taxi.

Value priced hotel in Mysore
We chose this hotel from the reviews on Trip-Advisor, and for the price we were not disappointed. The rooms were clean and perfect for a weekend visit to Mysore, while we were on business in Bangalore. There is a restaurant with basic but cheap and good Indian buffet and a small selection of "western" items such as toast, cereal etc. both for breakfast and evening. As well there is a small Café Coffee Day outlet in the foyer which serves toasted sandwiches, cakes, coffee, tea and milk shakes. Also quite a good store that is open in the late afternoon and evening which sells postcards and souvenirs. You can get some good bargains if you're prepared to haggle a little :o) We initially had a few small problems with the check in as the hotel could not find the record which said our bill had been prepaid, so this meant we waited for more than an hour to get our room, however everything worked out in the end and we could sit in the café while we waited.

Hotel at mysore
Very nice stay. We stayed in the hotel in dec2011. We were visiting mysore. Its a very nice hotel situated in a convenient location. We needed to cover the important tourist places in mysore. The hotel has peopple who arranged for the tour .It was a private vehicle at a very nominal cost. We enjoyed our trip. The hotel facilities, the roomservice, clean restrooms, everything was beyand our expectations.

A very reasonable hotel for the price. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is good as it is in a quite area but only a five minute walk from the places of interest i.e bazaar and palace. The staff were polite and professional. One note of caution. I booked a bus ticket from the hotel to Ooty at the travel desk, which i don,t think is part of the hotel, which was a mistake. It is not a direct bus but part of a tour and will stop several times at places of no real interest. It took two hours just to pick everyone up and 8 in total to get to Ooty. Better just to get a normal bus.

This hotel is pretty modern, but the staff seem a bit distant and disinterested. Location is a bit out of the main town area, but it is not too inconveninet to get an auto rickshaw to where you want to go Some rooms are very noisy due to them being in above the open foyer/reception and restuarnt area. Any converstaion, movement and telephone calls echo and reverberate around the walls and tiled floors.
