I think everything was great. Already planning on coming back in November for another habs game. This places was super clean. The only thing I hated was the elevator. It seem static and lights kept flickering

right now it is bad with construction it took me 45 minutes to get a parking spot in front of the hotel so I could check in.... then just to drive to the parking garage another 20 minutes.... I think it will new looked this for all of 2024...

The only thing we did not like was the fact that our room on the second floor was facing another wall of the hotel so we had no light into our room and could not take in the sights of the city. On the other hand we got to check-in before our regular time so that was a good thing and may have accounted for the room selection.

I keep choosing this best western location because it feels like home. The rooms are just right and so comfortable are the beds. The check is process is amazing and checking out is pretty fast. Staff always answers questions and they make great suggestions. I love it here ❤️👍

This hotel is an amazing place to stay for a getaway. The hotel is spacious. The rooms are spacious AND CLEAN!!!. If you expect it to be quiet on the streets of Montreal it isn’t. The staff are friendly and plenty of restaurants around. 5 minute walk to the bell centre!!! A MUST stay!

There was a very strong natural gas smell in the lobby in the evening. I'm assuming this was from the restaurant above the lobby but it was a little concerning.

Excellent location but… Room was not clean, found a dirty sock on the floor and used soap in the shower. Told staff at 9 am, came back to our room at 1pm and it was still not cleaned. Reported again at 1:30pm to front desk, the room was cleaned but yet again the sock had not been moved. Doesn’t make you feel great about sleeping in the bed!

I loved the new and clean rooms, amazing housekeeping and friendly people at reception. Really good amenities and a modern and chic location in downtown. Very accessible to the nightlife and old city. Will definitely stay here again when I'm back in Montreal!

Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful. It was a block away from rue Sainte-Catherine and plenty of restaurants around. Super convenient for location. Bell Center was a block away. Check in and check out was super easy and quick. Cons: The hotel definitely needs some upgrades but everything still worked fine. Things are dated and the elevators are so tiny. Fridge was also tiny, and bed was a bit uncomfortable. I didn’t care for the way we were treated by the parking garage attendants but that had nothing to do with the hotel staff as it’s separate companies. The parking is through a third party company in a garage behind the hotel. I did address it with the hotel and they were apologetic which brings me back to the pros regarding the staff being accommodating and friendly.

Great central location. Easy to Centre Bell, Metro, shopping, bars/restaurants. A litle attention to the ice machines. Check and clean for mold. Had large chunks end up in my ice bucket. Rather gross. Would not use ice here for my drinks.

Front desk help was wonderful. Didn’t like that there is no parking, but it’s downtown so it’s a normal thing, I guess. What I didn’t like was the room size, it was about the size of a shoebox.

This hotel stay was just…sufficient. It is very dated and old so you can imagine how that impacts everything. The bed/bedding and front entry way were the worst off. Parking is not ideal. It’s a lot 1 block south, but can only get to it on the other side of the building making it more like 2 blocks. You can un/load in front of the hotel at least. If you plan to park and leave the car it’s $18/day. But we went out a few times to sight see and eat so paid $12 a handful of times over our 2 nights. It’s 1.5 blocks from the arena so that was the large pull to stay here. Was very walkable! The price point brings the associated company, mostly. Manage expectations and you’ll be fine.

Overall we had a good 4 night stay. The location was excellent for our planned events at the Bell Centre. The shopping centres were minutes away. The hotel is older with some nice renovations. The air conditioning unit in the window was loud when it was active. We had great housekeeping service. When we left for the day we’d come back to a made bed and clean towels/linens.

all good things! it’s important to note that a one queen bed room was a lot smaller than the picture looked. two travellers was pretty crammed. you also need to make sure the cardholder is present at check in if a payment hasn’t been pre-made. some people in front of us had issues. great hotel if you are going to a centre bell event
