You feel so welcome as soon as your are greeted by staff. The views are beautiful. The rooms are comfortable. The food was amazing but most of all we loved that we felt so welcomed. The staff seemed truly happy for us to be there.

Charming country lodge
Outstanding place to stay in the middle of peaceful Spanish countryside. The suite was lovely, with olive and citrus trees in the garden, and the breakfast was also excellent.

Fantastic gem
We stayed at the hotel for one night but wish we'd been able to stay for longer. We were greeted with a glass of cava and given a friendly and quick tour of the hotel facilities. The hotel has an intimate and quiet feel, almost like a Spa. Our room was beautiful, spacious, air conditioned and very quiet. There's a great outdoor area with the swimming pool as the 'centre piece'. In the evening one can sit around the pool and enjoy the beautiful night sky and olive trees whilst enjoying a reasonably priced drink from the hotel bar. We ate at the hotel's restaurant and the food was excellent - and again very reasonably priced. Breakfast was good too, classic Spanish breakfast. The hotel asks guests to be considerate, but the pool area can get a bit noisy at various times during the day. The hotel is fairly easy to find, just follow the signs from Montoro. I highly recommend this hotel and I most certainly hope to return in the not too distant future. It's a real gem.

Romantic, rustic hotel amidst olive groves
We were welcomed by Antonio, the owner, with a glass of cava for checkin. The hotel is a beautifully restored olive mill about 30 miles from Cordoba. Antonio and his wife MJ are passionate about food, wine, music and hospitality. Food selections for breakfast and dinner are locally sourced and excellent. It is a gorgeous 30 minute drive into Cordoba through olive groves and mountains. The rooms are large with tiled floors, with antique furnishings. The olive mill machinery and storage tanks are on display in the dining room and provide a lovely ambiance for dinner. Wifi is good in common areas, but spotty in bedrooms due to very thick stone walls. The setting in the olive groves is gorgeous, and the hotel has large swimming pool. My wife and I chose this hotel for a quiet, romantic location and we were not disappointed. Cuisine and wine cellar were excellent, an the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Would return in a heartbeat.

Great place to relax and unwind
We were met with a warm welcome and taken to our room after being shown around. Our every need was meet to when we wanted dinner all the way to directions and advice on our next destination. we really enjoyed our stay only wished we had booked another night.

We had a quick stop over in our way to cordoba, delightful hotel set in an old olive oil factory. Proper family run hotel, nothing was too much trouble. The ambience and atmosphere of the whole place is great. I really cannot recommend this place highly enough, great job guys!

Awesome Experience!
We were so glad we couldn't find a room in Cordoba, otherwise we would have missed this gem, this was the best hotel experience on our 2 week tour, the staff looked after our every need, and the food was absolutely fabulous, no need to drive any further to eat, it was the best, don't forget to have the mojito, also the best I've ever had. Skip the busy city you won't be sorry.

Excellent service, food and location!
We chose this hotel based on previous reviews and really pleased we did. The hotel staff were exceedingly kind and accomodating of all requests. The evening meals were excellent and very reasonably priced. Would definitely come back if in the area again.

Unique Property
We drove from Granada and stayed at this hotel becuase it was about 1/2 hour from Cardoba. We enjoyed the short drive to it from the main road (narrow dirt road through olive groves in both directions from the hotel). We were greeted with two glasses of champagne and a "tour" of the former olive oil factory! We enjoyed sitting in the large courtyard looking up at the stars. Our second-floor room had a door to the "lobby" and a door to the outside courtyard. The remote location makes it a great place to get away from the noise (all you can hear are birds singing during the day). Town is about 10 minutes away for those who want a restaurant; we went into town but ended up wishing we had stayed to eat dinner at the hotel because it sounded like the guests were having great fun. The proprietor does everything "first class" and even gave us a gift of olive oil upon our departure.

Gret break in a quest location
We were impressed with every aspect of this hotel. We were made most welcome by Levi and Tamara who went out of there way to make this a good experience. Interior of hotel has retained the love processing machinery which added to the experience. Food prepared by Levi was of the highest quality. Pool and pool area very nice and relaxing. One thing to watch for is that the hotel can be a bit difficult to find- road not on our Satnav. But if you go through the town from the south you will find sign posts with the name on

Calme et reposant, surplombant les oliviers
Perdu au milieu des oliviers sur les hauteurs de Montoro, ce lieu est calme et reposant. De belles vues , une piscine superbement aménagée (transats, cabane surplombant la piscine et les oliviers, fauteuils etc...), une cour intérieure typique. Accueil sympathique Personnel avenant Restaurant correct. Ce n est pas de la gastronomie mais on y mange correctement (de toute façon pas d autres choix si ce n est alors reprendre sa voiture)

Leuke accommodatie. Wel redelijk ver van Cordoba. Ontbijt was prima, werd grotendeels aan tafel geserveerd. Restaurant 's avonds ook lekker. Kamer netjes, rook alleen erg muf omdat het geregend had. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Estimado Carlos, gracias por su valoración y comentario, lamentablemente durante la madrugada una de las bombas del agua se rompió, siendo domingo nos fue dificil localizar a un tecnico que reemplazo la bomba por una nueva a las 9.20h de la mañana, volviendo el agua nuevamente a las 9.30h. Espero que podais volver y no tengais ni un pero en vuestra siguiente estancia.

Volveremos sin duda.
Alojamiento rural cerca del pueblo muy pictoresco de Montoro. Acogida muy agradable (con copa de cava). Edificio restaurado con mimo, incluyendo más que solo huellas de su propia historia (molino de aceite). Habitaciones en primera planta. Habitación amplia, cuarto de baño con ducha. Wifi excelente. Piscina grande en el jardin. Desayuno servido a la mesa en el restaurante donde se puede cenar también.

Hôtel accueillant et calme
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est accueillant, sympathique et très professionnel. Ils nous ont fait découvrir les plats typiques de l'Andalousie. La chambre était confortable avec un très grand lit. Aucun bruit ne nous a dérangé. C'est un hôtel inoubliable.

HOTEL RURAL CON MUCHO ENCANTO
Hemos pasado el fin de semana de San Valentin en este encantador hotel rural, el personal super amable, el hotel antiguo molino de aceite restaurado con un espectacular salon comedor, un patio empedrado muy bonito, las habitaciones acogedoras y muy limpias y el desayuno y la cena espectaculares, todo muy casero con ingredientes de primera calidad. A pesar de mal tiempo que tuvimos, hemos pasado el fin de semana muy relajados a la vez que romántico. Lo recomiendo como el sitio ideal para relajarse y disfrutar de su gastronomía en un entorno rural rodeados de olivos.Que mejor despertar que el piar de los pajarillos al amanecer...

Mooie oude molino midden tussen de olijfbomen
De molino ligt erg afgelegen midden in de olijfboomgaarden in de buurt van Montoro, de afstand tot Cordoba is ongeveer 50 kilometer en dit kost 45 minuten reistijd. Er zijn standaard kamers die niet al te groot zijn , de badkamers zijn heel sfeervol betegeld. Er zijn ook groter kamers beschikbaar met een zitbank, die biedt Expedia echter niet aan. Alle kamers hebben airconditioning, de WiFi is alleen goed in de lounge en hal , op de kamers is de ontvangst beperkt door de dikke muren en plafonds . De sfeer is authentiek, de lounge is schitterend en ook op de binnenplaats zijn er zitjes op de veranda. Het ontbijt is continentaal en niet al te uitgebreid. Dineren kun je prima in de molino, de kaart is best uitgebreid met vis en vlees gerechten, de steak en entrecote zijn voortreffelijk en aanraders. De tuin en het zwembad zien er verwaarloosd uit, het zwembad was niet afgevuld, erg lag veel zand op de bodem en de stofzuigerslangen hingen er doelloos in, het gras was niet gemaaid, geen uitnodiging om te gaan zwemmen. Het personeel en de jonge eigenaar/ manager doen erg hun best om de gasten te verwennen, het Engels is beperkt.

Estuve de paso camino a Málaga y me encantó. Un trato personal pero profesional y unas instalaciones muy cuidadas y detallista. La piscina se agradece en agosto y el fresco por la noche por su ubicación también.

Geweldig verblijf en goede tips/service
Geweldige locatie tussen Spaanse olijfboomgaarden. Eten erg goed en optimaal gast zijn! Tijdens ons verblijf was de eigenaar zelf samen met zijn vrouw aan het stuur en achter de kookpotten. Eigenaar heeft dit als pure hobby kwamen we achter. Hij heeft passie die te zien is! Hij kookt geweldig en heeft passie voor ingrediënten en wijnen. Zijn vrouw is een hele goede gastvrouw. Alles is mogelijk wat je vraagt als gast. Een heerlijk verblijf gehad op het platteland van Spanje wat we niet hadden willen missen.

Nos gustó mucho donde estaba ubicado el hotel, rodeado de olivos. Las zonas comunes están muy bien cuidadas y son muy agradables. La habitación, aunque grande porque era la adaptada para personas con movilidad reducida, tenía poca luz al ser un bajo y las ventanas daban a ras del suelo. Limitándonos a la habitación, la relación calidad precio no era buena, pero lo compensa todo lo demás. La cena y el desayuno estupendos. La atención prestada por el personal fue muy buena.
