Liked that it was large enough for our family. It’s an older property, so fully understand that it will not be perfectly clean. Loved the beds and fluffy pillows. Didn’t encounter the staffs too much since we didn’t need much. Only extra towels during our 4nights 5day stay. Threw out our own trash. Just a not noisy only when other people would pass by with their carriers and/or when the staff would pass by with their carts.

This old hotel is in a great location. Back in the day, I am sure it was beautiful. The grounds, the rooms, and it still could be with a lot of remodeling! the bathroom was gross, lights out, dirty. New furniture, but everything a hard a as rock in including the "New" mattresses in the rooms. the doors need to be sealed, so there would be less noise and cold air coming in from outside, I feel bad for the front desk people, they were very nice and I am sure they get a lot of complaints. I booked this hotel because it was a decent price, for now a days! and it had a hot tub listed! But the hot tub wasn't working, and it looked like it hasn't been for years, very disappointing, as my husband using one every day for his back issues.

Property could be amazing but needs some TLC and each room should be inspected - for instance our sink faucet was installed backwards. Lots of little things that could be done to improve the property!

It was a really nice stay for me & my family, but for me personally i would love for housekeeping to come into our room & clean/bring in new towels like how other hotels are like that I’ve been to & a kitchen. Overall i would definitely come back again it was great!

The property is very tired and not being kept up. In a good location and has potential to be a wonderful getaway spot but not under the current conditions. Rooms were very noisy as you could hear people walking around on the floor above. Needs some soundproofing. Breakfast area needs to be improved and updated. Very cold with no personality.

Great stay! Only a few minor things. Hot tub wasn’t up and running but that was expected due to the weather. One of our rooms kitchen cabinet door came off the hinge. The other room’s bathroom toilet overflowed during the night. Otherwise, the place was very cozy and quiet. Also, clean! Staff were helpful.

Old and run down: the staff is rude, they charge 22 dollars just to park and don’t tell you till you arrive. The breakfast is bad coffee and dry muffins a little fruit and hard boiled eggs this place has went down hill. The noise is bad lots of street traffic

The staff checking me in was very nice. The room was below average condition, older, several items broken and worn. Check out was 11:00am, but housing cleaning knock and opened door right away around 10:00am, I was not fully dressed. I asked the afternoon staff male for some food options, he was on his phone, and really never looked up at me, and just pointed the way. This happen twice with the same man. Spa was dirty, and not opened, which I book hotels with hopes of using their spa. Differently would chose a different hotel next time.

Major storm knocked out the power shortly after our arrival, not the hotel’s fault of course. But, there were no wellness checks and it was pitch black out. You would think that the hotel would send a staff member door to door and check on the guests, but no one came to make sure we were ok or get us a flashlight or anything. Bummer

I booked this hotel for a staycation because it had a hot tub. Was told after check-in that the hot tub was closed! My friends are staying in room 233; they have ants! Next door to my room, there's a leak in the hallway with a puddle of water and lots of buckets. Have not tried the breakfast yet. Staff was super nice.

We got to breakfast 15 min prior to it ending and there were no more eggs or bacon. That was disappointing because if breakfast is served until a certain time, there should be good food for guests available until the ending time. There were kids running above our room and the elevator stopped working as we were leaving. We left food on the counter in a container and bag and ants were all in the bag by morning. Our stay was overall good except those things mentioned. Room was clean, bed clean, bathroom clean and felt safe there.

It was me, my wife, and my 12 year old son who checked in at 3::15pm. The check in went smoothly, and the staff were ver kind and professional. Then, the power went out at 5:15 pm, and the outage was for the entire hotel. That meant our room was freezing, due to the rain and the weather outside. It is now 11:39pm and the power is still off. There has been no communication, no updates, nothing!!! My family had to sent in our car while it was running to get warm and to charge our phones. When then called the hotel manager by the name of Anna, and she was beyond unhelpful, and very unprofessional. She was not empathetic, and it’s terrible because her staff is much more professional than her. When we asked for a refund due to the unsatisfactory hotel stay, she stated that she could only give back $55.00. Parking alone was $22.00. She stated that we can go to Sand City to see if they had rooms available, and that it was not her fault that the weather caused the power to go out. She then refused to give me her name, but I believe that’s because she realized how unprofessional she was being. Anna then told me and my wife that we need to contact Expedia to get a refund since we are booked through Expedia, and because the hotel does not have our money. After the phone call with Anna, my wife and I were upset but more disappointed. We will not be coming back to this hotel, and will not recommend it to others either.

It’s gotten a little run down since I stayed there last. It really has a lot of potential. You don’t have control of the heat, and the fireplace takes a while to heat up if you are there in bad weather. I never saw a housekeeper and the front desk staff would have rather been somewhere else. That being said, the bed was comfortable and I liked the location. Breakfast was a LOT better than I expected too.
