“Welcoming Owners but room only OK”

The owners are welcoming and the convenience of parking outside the room was great. We felt the room was ok, let down by being a little dated, especially in the bathroom. The floor of our room was a bit springy but we cured the rattling pull out TV in the cabinet by wedging it with a towel. The room was cold. When we queried it at departure we were told that because it was May the heating was turned off centrally. I'd rather have had the option to pay more for a room that wasn't cold. Probably because we were in a room at the far end of the site from the 'state of the art' (owner's words) system, we found the (complimentary) Wi-fi was s l o w. On a value for money basis we felt this location was OK
