We had a lovely stay at Mokinba King Hotel. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Our room was just as we had booked, couldn’t fault it at all, it was very spacious for 3 of us and we had a great street front view. Walking distance to the city centre (and the Duomo) and in a safe neighbourhood. Would stay there again!

Our room was perfect for a couple traveling for a short stay. The shower definitely is on the smaller end. Very easy access to/from train station. Google walk was able to get us to the hotel in a matter of 10 minutes walk. The location is also within 10 min to the duomo and shopping. We are at a really nice place called slow sud https://slow-sud.it/ristoranteasole/ Authentic Italian food for a great price. Front staff will be available all day until 9-10pm. If you have to checkout early make sure you get it done day before. We were able to stop a taxi and as we were heading to the train station. The hotel was nice and very clean. If you need a larger shower you may need to inquire that before your stay. The hotel also offers taxi pick up from the airport at an extra charge of $30 euros.

Great location!
We found the hotel easily and it was very well situated close to the city centre and Parco Sempione. The room was sufficiently big for three people and the bathroom nice and clean. The bed was, in my opinion, a bit hard and short. I'm not extremely tall 168 cm, but my feet reached outside of the end of the bed.

First - strange name. The people at the front desk during the day hours were very helpful and they helped us get a very early check in. Night time guy - don’t bother him. The moldings around many of the doors on our floor were coming off. The lighting system requires you to put your key card in a contraption at the door for the lights to work. The shower barely fits a person and it’s very noisy when you invariably hit the surround. Oh, no wash cloths. The walls are paper thin though generally the place was quiet overall. You cannot adjust the heat in the room. They set it for the whole property. It was very warm. The elevator could only house 2 people. And 2 pieces of luggage. None of this would keep me from staying there again though. Wi-Fi was good. Did not try breakfast so can’t say but there are a number of Cafe/bars within 1-2 minutes. It’s a 3 star European hotel. It meets those criteria. It’s fine.

Much smaller property than expected. Careful on choosing the room, they have double or full list, they will give you the double instead. Very small accomodations.

For a budget hotel this property is fantastic. Very clean modern decorated rooms, friendly staff, excellent location close to everything you need and quiet rooms. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone on a budget or not.

This is happening a lot. We see the picture of the hotel room, we book the hotel, then when we arrive the room doesn’t look anything like the picture. This room is extremely small. Nothing like we thought.

Not a 4 stars hotel! Maybe 2….
Terrible customer service ! Terrible beds and they advertise as having parking but they don’t !! They refer a public parking lot, located 1km away that costs 3,50 Euros per hour! If it’s raining be prepared to get soaked. And if you have mobility issues check in advance how to get to the room , because they have an elevator that barely fit the luggages and there are a few stairs steps to reach it.

It was just few minutes away from the station. The area of the property was safe but of course even it says safe for solo female traveler, there was a male stranger standing outside of the hotel in the morning and said “Hello, beautiful” to me. It’s not hotel’s fault but it of course made me uncomfortable. It was a quite area so that makes me feel scary when a male stranger talked to me.

Staff not really friendly… we had to do self check in and upon check out the concierge didn’t even say goodbye to us. There were no toiletries supplied (other than soap), no tissues, just one roll of toilet paper. For the price they charge we expected a lot more. However the room was large and comfortable.

This was a pretty good location and the check in process was easy. The only thing was our room was tiny and the shower could barely fit one person. Would like to have some more amenities to the rooms and updated washrooms

Not a 4 Star Hotel
I find it hard to believe this hotel is a 4 star hotel. The rooms were small and relatively shabby. The air conditioning did not work, so the room was painfully warm (and it wasn't a particularly warm day in the city). We also had trouble getting consistent hot water in the shower. To top it off, there was a mosquito in the room. I can't say the staff was much better either. The team refused to help us pre-book a cab (trying to instead get us to use the hotel's transfer at a much higher rate than a normal cab) and was generally unhelpful.

Got bitten by some insects. 😤. No amenities like coffee maker. Drinking Water not even provided. Bed and pillows are hard to sleep with. Hotel should not be considered as 4 star hotel.

The rooms are very small. There are no amenities (kleenex shampoo) only a soap. Shower is very unconfortable, door is 45 cms so an overweight person wont fit in. Smaller than a cruise. The hotel is very chic and location is perfect. 3 blocks to Duomo. 4 blocks to train and subway. And a lot of dining options.

The property was in an ideal location for me with an easy walk and to central areas I was visiting on my trip. E.g Duomo and Teatro Alla Scala. A few things within the overall description are slightly incorrect. So the rooms are not soundproofed as described which meant there was significant noise from neighbouring rooms and the corridor. The property also advertises 24 hour reception - this was closed after 9pm and we were given an access key code for the door which to me isn’t a 24 hour reception. The property is advertised as being four stars but I think this is unlikely to be correct as the finish in the rooms was not high enough to justify this rating e.g. the wallpaper behind the tv stops abruptly and does not cover the full wall and the bathroom was very small. There was also a mini bar but no pricing list and it wasn’t made clear to me on arrival where the bar / restaurant was so I ate out every day of my stay. Overall the cleanliness was good in the bedroom but there was a few hairs in the bathroom on arrival. Overall, the stay was more than satisfactory for my short visit to Milan but there were a lot of areas that I felt were misrepresented on the listing and could be improved.

This is NOT a four star hotel. Very poor value. Room was REALLY noisy (facing the front and I live on a main road in central London), breakfast was terrible (dried up and left out for too long, machine coffee which for Italy is sacrilege, surely?), most of the reception staff were pretty indifferent (one lady was quite helpful but she only seemed to be there for one morning, the young man at reception was indifferent at best and actually tried to overcharge me), bathroom was tiny - the size of the shower is almost a joke. Even though it was warm, they refused to turn the AC on so had to sleep with window open, which let mosquitoes in (and the overwhelming street noise). I would be ok with that normally but this 3-night stay cost me over EUR700. Better off staying at the NH or other 4 star chain hotel as quality is guaranteed and it would be the same price. The only thing about this hotel was the amazing location but to be fair, there are plenty more in the same area for the same price that are on back streets.
