Very convenient for the Milan metro and central station with lots of dining options close by. Hotel has modern fixtures and comfortable bedding.

The staff were not too friendly, but OK. The room was not very clean, smell like low quality detergent. The overall room condition was nothing like the photos shown. I don't recommend this hotel.

Milan Central
Nice little hotel in a cozy area. Little tight for a family of five but we made it work. Staff was friendly. We picked this hotel because it was close to the Central station for our day trips. Very convientient for sure.

Convenient, basic but value for money.
The staff were ok. Room was very basic. Plugs in the room weren't traditional fittings so had to use the plug in the bathroom for everything. Clean room and bedsheets. Cheap mini bar. Close to Central station and shops.

Excellent location. Very close to central station and metro. Staff helpful. Room and bathroom very clean possibly newly renovated. Great stay. Cannot comment on breakfast as did not take it. Would recommend this hotel no problem.

Major construction in room next door
I had a pleasant check-in with a nice front desk attendant and told him I needed a quiet room as I needed to sleep in the next morning after flying all the way from the US. The next morning prior to 9am I awoke to major drilling and construction work in the room next door that continued at least until early afternoon that day. There were 2 men on ladders drilling into the ceiling and concrete mix in the hallway outside. I made repeated calls to the front desk to get the noise to stop or move my room, but they did not help in any way and the manager did not have the decency to even apologize. When I checked out, they still made me pay the nominal city tax! Worst hotel experience of my life.

For basic needs
The Canova Hotel is your basic Days Inn with a kitchen in Milan. it's a quick walk from Milan Central Station. It's clean and in a safe area. The beds are comfortable and sheets were clean. The receptionist were helpful and quick. My only complaint is that the shower was really small and my BF didn't have much room to move around and the AC was a bit weak. Overall, the hotel was good. It's practical if you are not looking for amenities.

Nice to find a nice hotel near a train station
Early check in even though we didn't book, room small but modern and well aired. Air con very good aswell. Bathroom clean, No door on the shower!! Made the entire bathroom floor wet, this was my only problem but then again it wasn't an issue. We just used towels to mop it up We left to early for their breakfast which wasn't included but smelt amazing as we walked through the lobby to check out. had a lovely one night stay, would stay here again for sure

BEST hotel close to Milan central train station
Clean, comfortable, modern, and quiet, at a reasonable price. Not pretty or historic, just excellent accommodations with good air conditioning, luxurious bathroom and decent beds. Did not eat at the restaurant, satellite TV had some problems. Manager spoke good English, short walk from station. Would stay there again.

Nice hotel with nicely decorated room and corridors. I felt it was cheeky for the to tell them on our arrival that we will have to pay 4 euros per night ( milan city tax), I was hoping this would have been included in the hotel room price. Breakfast area is small, however food is very lovely. It was nice to had an option of a light breakfast for lower price. The only bad thing was that our window was located in front of the hotel right above the smoking area, so everyone we came back to hotel room was filled with smell of cigarettes smoke. Hotel is very close to the central station and has nice restaraunts just across the road and supermarket just around the corner.

Location, location but can't swing a cat!
Terrific location, close to Centrsl train station but room was quite small. Stayed here with my husband and young adult son. Only room for one of us to walk around while the others had to sit on the bed. Breakfast wasn't included in our stay but we paid the extra €8 each for a sufficient breakfast. It was clean. We were able to catch a Hop on Hop Off bus from the Central Station stop and a couple of evenings walked back from the Duomo area.

Nice for a short stay!
Very close to the Milan Central Station, which makes traveling around so much easier! The staff at the front were very kind and helpful! The room smelled like bleach when I first arrived but wore of by the time I left. The maid though was looking through people's trash cans at their reciepts so be cautious not to throw away things with sensitive information in the trash cans. Other than that it was easy to get to and convenient for the night I stayed!

A very pleasant stay
I couldn't have been more pleased with the location so close to Central but quiet. The service was great, especially given staff,s unwillingness to accept any payment for stored luggage. I'd definitely stay again.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times. We find the location to be perfect for us. it is close to the Train station and the subway. the location is great. We always take a bus from the airport and it takes you to the central train station and the hotel is a 5 min walk from there. It is within walking distance to the Duomo area of the city and shopping areas. there is a small grocery store just around the corner as well as many cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are newly remodeled and clean. The beds are comfortable. The economy room is quite small, but for one night it is ok. If you are staying any longer than a day take a regular size room. The rooms have small refrigerators which is nice.

The worst hotel I have ever been
Nothing was good. We stayed at 'Apartment 1 Annex building'. It isn't a hotel building, neighbors were the tenants in the building, hmm it wasn't a big problem, I am just saying. Cleanliness? some weird(included smoke) smell from the other apartments or somewhere from the fan at the bathroom. I needed hot tea but we never know how long the tea bags and spoons have been there. When I opened the tea pot, it smelt... urine. ha.. it was really disgusting. Bathroom? shower booth is ridiculous. It is really tiny even not easy to turn my body, I really want to ask them why they made it like that, so stupid. And water... WATER!!! I couldn't bear it!!!! I took a shower first and then my husband did but he couldn't finish properly, because THERE WERE NO HOT WATER ANYMORE!!!! so if you still want to stay there, I would recommend taking a shower 30 minutes after the first person. No warm air conditioning even there is air conditioner.. or something looks like, thankfully it was warm weatehr we were in Milan. It is still not late yet, please look for another hotel, it is not worth, just rubbish.

Convenient to the train station and subway
This was a nice hotel, a little dated, but clean. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. It is in walking distance of the train station as well as many shopping areas. we were surprised to find that it was also in walking distance to the Duomo area. The internet was ok. Over all it was a great location and a good value. It is very close to a little grocery store and has a refrigerator in the room. We found this very helpful for midnight snacks!!

On the day we arrived there was no hot water for most of the evening, I can only assume it was bad luck and not a recurring problem. The location is slightly far from the main attractions of the city, but tolerable.

Pretty much a disaster: On one day - no water at all, then not hot water. No warning that this was going to happen. No milk (uht) provided in the room. Room was pretty filthy - dust and hairs in the furniture and floor. Wifi dropped out precisely just as I needed it for work. Will not be staying here again.

Hotel was great minus the shower floor.
The hotel is located in a very nice area and the room itself was clean. The only issue I had was the shower. The bathroom was even nice just the floor looked very old and I didnt feel comforatble walking in with bare feet. The water didnt drain properly and when you open the walk-in shower the water exited into the the bathroom floor. Other than that my stay was fine.

Ok, but bad internet
Room was ok, price was affordable, very close to Milan central station so very usefull to take the train to MXP airport, but the internet WIFI was very unstable. I am traveling for business so a good internet connection is important for me. The speed was ok when working, but would work for about 25 of the time so useless.

Good value but could be much better.
Canova in good location re central station but remote from more lively parts of city. Well priced in Milan terms but small rooms and no room control on temperature. Hotel makes settings based on season regardless of daily conditions or positioning of each room. Our room really hot and we could only cool it by opening windows and requesting fan. Staff very helpful but stuck with rules.

Good stay in Milan
Lovely friendly service, very helpful. only problem was that safe did not work and although they tried to fix it this took time and we were not able to leave the room in the meantime. In the end we took our stuff with us.
