"We had just got married and were given an upgraded room, without asking, as a lovely gesture. All the staff were friendly and helpful; all of the parts of the hotel we saw were clean, although some inconsequential bits showed the need for maintenance, like the missing excutcheon on our bathroom door, but none of it impacted our stay; the food in the restaurant was really good (if a bit expensive - sorry); and the breakfast a typical hotel buffet that really hit the spot. Above all, the views over Langstone Harbour reallyake this venue. We'll be returning, no doubt."
