Property was a little older and not like some of the new Staybridge Suites I have stayed in. Rooms were ok, but not great. Hallways and stairs seems a little worn out. Also, parking was not good. Very few spots directly around the hotel, there are business lots directly around the hotel, but were told that you could not park in some of them.

Rooms smell horrible, sheets are not clean and some of the staff are even rude when you approach them complaining about noise and bad odor.

Dear Monica,I am terribly sorry to hear about your stay! I just met with housekeeping to discuss your issues with cleanliness. I do not tolerate any rudeness and very sad to see you encountered that. It is imperative we provide a clean hotel with the best customer service but obviously dropped the ball big time here. Again, I am very sorry for your experience!

We just returned from the happy hour . The gentleman assisting with the happy hour was very nice . The strawberry shortcake cookies were fantastic.

The room was clean and smelled fine, the bathroom smelled like someone may have smoked in it or another room near by. Having a full size fridge was clutch for our family of 4 with food allergies. The area seemed relatively safe, my last trip to Memphis my car was broken in to at a Marriot, this area seemed up scale and security was present and doing laps continuously. I would stay here again and my wife said the same.

I reserved and paid for 2 rooms in advance. When i arrived I was informed that I had only one room reserved and the hotel was booked. The next morning I given my second reserved room and was told that it was available the night prior. They had my whole family crammed in one room for a night. Then told me that I had actually reserved 2 rooms and never checked in to the other room. After all the confusion and inconvenience, i am still waiting for reimbursement for a night I did not use one of their rooms and spent the night sleeping on the floor. Terribly disappointed!

It was so dirty. The ventilator was full of mold, the bathtub had blood stains, and one bedroom light was broken. The room smelled bad.

We always love staying at Staybridge Hotels. This one was probably the most rundown of the ones I've stayed at. It is a non-smoking facility, but there was so much marijuana smoking going on that it was pretty awful. The shower had hair in it and mold. The great part is that it was in a safe area with security patrolling at night.

Nice, clean property in the heart of East Memphis. However, off the busy Poplar Avenue so felt secluded. Friendly and very helpful staff. Rooms were good size and all equipment functioned properly.

Parking terrible! Air conditioning didn’t work very well. Room musty smelling and to top it off our vehicle was broken into along with several others. Thought staying on this side of Memphis was as okay….. but apparently not.

This is a great place that allows pets. The staff were very friendly and the daily breakfast was good. Although it is in a nicer area of Memphis and has security, vehicle break-ins still occur.

There was very limited parking so we were forced to park at a neighboring business . There was no security and 24 vehicles were broken into that night one of which was ours granted nothing was taken they just did enough to make it an inconvenience for the begging of our trip. Other then that the actual facility was nice . Clean, and staff was friendly. Breakfast was not that great

Pros: Neighborhood felt safe. Front desk staff were friendly. Free breakfast (typical hotel breakfast fare). Separate living area from bedrooms which is so nice when traveling with kids. Pool area looked decent, but we didn’t use. Cons: Entire property is need of updating and maintenance! Lights out in elevators so they were very dark. Water stains on ceilings in room. Rooms were clean enough that I didn’t complain, but they really needed to be cleaned. Floors were sticky. Thick dust on vents and sprinklers in room. Mold in shower (very inadequate ventilation in bathroom). Carpet was obviously not vacuumed. Windows were filthy and actually had words and faces that were “drawn” on by fingers on the glass by previous guest. Overall, it wasn’t gross. It was adequate enough that I stayed and didn’t complain. But I would not be back without some major changes and updates.

This hotel was fabulous. We enjoyed this hotel and look forward to staying here again. We used the complimentary laundry. The bed was great. The breakfast was fabulous. My family loved this place. Rooms were so spacious and lovely. This is the only place to stay in the Memphis area.

Loved the compact but adequate kitchenette, bathroom was not cramped. Bed so comfortable that I actually took the sheet off the bed to look for a label so I could buy that kind of sheets. Breakfast had good options - eggs and bacon, yogurts, canned fruit, some fresh whole oranges and green or red apples, cream of wheat with a few toppings, make-your-own mini waffles, bagels, pre-packaged muffin, 4 kinds of Minute Maid juice, coffee, boiled eggs. We enjoyed it so much, we are looking for a Staybridge in the next city we will have to stop in
