Misleading
No hot water for first 3 days of holiday. Staff were telling us when we should shower if we wanted hot water. Staff failed to realise my mother is a local Mauritian and when they were speaking about is in Creole my mother understood everything they were saying and she was shocked at how they were speaking about the customers who were staying at the facility. The sofas are all second hand ones that they buy and refurbish and the leather used is not fire retardant and the leather is just stapled onto the actual wooden sofa. Jacuzzi has not worked in years, yet they are busy building an extension to the apartments without even putting any effort into the premises they already have. Security working the front office was drunk every evening as well.

It is a good value for money. The great thing was that we were upgraded from room to apartment (balcony, kitchen and more space). Staff were very polite and communication was easy. Receptionist helped us with some tips, arranging the rent-a-car and transport from/to the airport. We were allowed to have a late check-out which we really appreciated. The only negative thing was that surrounding streets didn’t have street lights so it was not very pleasant in the evening (not because of safety but simply unpleasant)

Great Value for Money
Well located to the Super U and other fast food outlets, ie. Debonairs, Steers, KFC, McDonalds, Fish Aways, Pizza Hut. The accommodation itself is neat, clean & well kept. The staff are extremely warm and also assisting with any request.

Very good price and spacious apartment
We had a late check in but gladly we worked it out. The daily housekeeping was awesome and the room was spacious.

Booked a 2 bed apartment but had to take two separate rooms. No WiFi in my room, no air conditioning on arrival, safes were locked on arrival and never opened so had to strategically hide valuables, shower head kept falling down so had to hold the shower head, shower took a long time to get warm, no air conditioning in bathroom so very warm through day and night. Hardly saw staff on reception so unable to ask for help/maps etc.

We regret the unavailability of the 2 bedroom apartment which was due to an unforeseen situation and you have been given 2 nice one-bedroom apartments. As In terms of WiFi, the system is deemed particularly powerful because we have 3 access. I am, myself at the Reception, from 9:00 up to 17:00 and I am very sorry to hear that your stay wasn’t as expected, regrettably that non of these issues were mentioned to us so as to be fixed immediately. Good budget accommodation run by a family.
Run by a family. We had a big appartment for 5 people including 3 kids with half board. Staff and family members were very friendly and helpful. Diner is served at sisters restaurant in Grand Bay. We got picked up for diner and dropped off afterwards. The hotel has a nice big swimming pool. The hotel is close to shops where you can buy everything you need. You can walk to the beach in about 10-15 minutes.

Not Villa Nirvana.
On the downside, the bed was very hard, cold water showers until rectified after two complaints. Internet password was withheld like classified information, and manageress, Ruth, would insert the password on our devices herself. This was frustrating and annoying, to say the least. On the upside, the place is well situated, being only a short stroll to the Super U and other conveniences in Grand Bay.

Better than expected
Only 10 minutes walk to Grand Bay beach. 5 minutes walking to Restaurants and the Super U Store. For the price we got, it was better than expected and very good. The Receptionist is very friendly and eager to help. The room was clean and better than expected.

The staff were very friendly but they were havintage some maintenence issues. So we had a lot of leaking water. We had alooked booked a 2 bed apartment but could not get this until the 2nd night of our stay due to it not being available because of leaking water. Overall a break disappointing.

Exceeded expectation.
For the price we got, we did not expect it to be that good. The lady at the reception desk welcomed us with a great smile and was very keen in helping us. The room was clean and better than expected. The only disadvantage was that from our room we could hear the loud sqeaking sound of the security guard's door. Its quite annoying during the night.

A holiday to remember
We stayed for nearly 2 weeks at Narmada. We were very happy during our stay there. It is close to the supermarket, Grand Bay night life and the beautiful beach. The place was clean, the people were courteous and helpful, especially the lady in the reception. She was simply delightful. The road to the Narmada is quite new. We will definitely stay there again.

Amazing place to stay!
My friends and I stayed at the Villa Narmada for 3 days. Each day was amazing. The owner was very flexible with what we needed and was very friendly. The staff was very friendly as well. The rooms are clean and they have everything you need. The place is located within 7 minutes of walking to restaurants and the super U grocery store. I don't think I can recommend this place any more! Enjoy your stay.

Not really ....don't even think about it.
The Villa is on "road" which is basically dirt; no ashphalt no nothing. It did have a guard which was there all the time and this was comforting. The place had old furniture. The leg of the bed in one of the room broke when we sat on it because it was rotten (we are all slim and fit) and it took them 4 days to fix it, time in which my dad slept on a not so straight bed. As a positive, it was close to the supermarket!

Good value hotel, particularly if you wish to use self catering facilities. Building work in vicinity July 2009 and access from hotel by rough ground or potholed road but neither caused us any problems.

Hébergement avec tout le confort, piscine et le calme absolu. A 2 mn de Grand Baie et du Super U. Merci à Ruth et à son staff pour le charmant accueil toujours à l écoute. Merci à Sheila d avoir été notre fée du logis , à Rakesh notre chauffeur et guide de nous avoir fait visiter l île, au veilleur de nuit toujours souriant, staff piscine et autre très courtois. Si je devais revenir à l île Maurice je reviens ici.

Villa Narmada, er et kjempekoselig tror det er familiedrevet Vi hadde frokost inkludert, den fikk vi ta når vi ville, de er veldig fleksible. De hjalp oss med fikse egen bil til de turene vi ønsket og være med på, veldig grei måte og se nye ting på. Vårt inntrykk at det var veldig bra der.

Sentral beliggenhet ift butikker som stormarked. Ikke wifi tilgang på rommene. Kun få av personalet som kunne snakke engelsk. Kunne ønsket meg litt mer vennlighet og i møterommene personal, personalet som vasket rommene gjorde en fantastisk jobb. Under vårt opphold bodde det andre gjester som tok helt over fellesarealene, de fikk tilsnakk uten at det hjalp. Mye unødvendig støy, selvom vi var på vårt eget rom. Kommer ikke til å bo der igjen.

Séjour de deux semaines passé en ce lieu ..Le personnel est d'une gentillesse à toute épreuve ...Ruth est une personne charmante mettant tout en oeuvre pour satisfaire nos besoins ...quelques problèmes de wifi en début de séjour ,résolus par la suite sont à peine venu entacher ce séjour ..le plus pour ce lieu est lié à un hyper super U très proche ..
