“Butler Service Unrivalled”

The Pan Pacific Hotel, Manila lives up to its reputation for high quality service. The rooms are very well appointed and maintained. A particularly good feature is the highly efficient group of butlers who attend to guests requirements. They are capable of dealing with complex requests and are a cut above the ordinary hotel staff. Security in the hotel is good with armed guards outside and a security key system for all lifts and doors. This is needed as the area around the hotel attracts peddlers, beggars, et al ; however this is not a major hassle except late at night. I never felt threatened or unsafe in the area of Malate.

“Very Nice. Very friendly. Top choice”

We spent 2 nights in Manila for New Year before heading down to Borocay. The hotel is in a handy position with a few nice bars/restaurants nearby. Also, only a couple of hundered yards from a huge shopping Mall. Staff were incredibly friendly and our room was superb. Breakfast very extensive and is had on the 21st Floor giving great views. This hotel was great value and we would happily use it again. Not the place to spend more than one or two nights ( nor is anywhere in Manila ) but for a break on the way through, it was excellent.

“One of Manila's best”

I have stayed in many 4/5 star hotels in Manila now and this one is on par with my favourite hotel in the world ( also in manila !! ). The hotel is really clean and maintained at a high standard always. The staff are friendly and polite and the room standard was excellent. The food/drink/service/ambience in the Pacific Lounge was also excellent and the pool table and numerous televisions scattered around the lounge made this a pleasurable evening. The rooftop garden is beautiful. Only a block away from the amazing Manila Baywalk. Highly recommend this hotel.

“EXCELLENT LOCATION”

Very good hotel in an excellent location close to Robinsons shopping mall and good nightlife.Comfortable rooms that shut out the noise. Lovely buffet breakfast. Attentive and friendly staff.A good gym and pool area, although the pool could be latger and deeper.

The best hotel in malate/ermita by far. The breakfast buffet is excellent, second only to the mandarin oriental in makati. The staff are courteous, friendly and efficient, they cannot do enough to help. The rooms are large with excellent bathrooms and the beds are remarkably comfy.

“Nice Hotel, location OK”

This hotel stood out as being 4 star but much cheaper than others in say Makati. That's because of the location really. But taxis are cheap and the Robertson Mall just 2 mins walk away makes it ideal for a high quality, cheap hotel stay in Manila.

“Lovely experience.”

Our third stay in recent years as it is conveniently located for our needs shops and entertainment is nearby. Also we like a little luxury after a stay in the provinces. The rooms are very comfortable - good showers and air conditioning. The choice of the breakfast buffet is wonderful - even though i tend to overeat. A lovely pool area to relax away from the heat of the city streets. All in all a pleasant place to stay.

“excellent hotel”

Third stay at this hotel. I especially like the high quality bathrooms and excellent aircon in the rooms.Also you cannot hear any exterior noise in the room which can be a major problem in noisy areas both early morning and late at night. I found the pool area very refreshing amidst the high temperatures. Very conveniently located for shopping and nightlife. Lovely buffet breakfast with a huge choice.
