Aside from the street noise on the Portland street side facing, it was a great choice. Good value, walking distance to everywhere in the city centre, nice staff and clean room.

Overall a pleasant 3-night stay for a conference. Comfy bed and high level of cleanliness. My only disappointment was the lack of choice on the bar menu. I am vegetarian and gluten-intolerant. Only one dish was suitable - a Thai curry with a naan bread. The gluten free option was to remove the naan but charge the same price. For a hotel chain, a lack of choice and flexibility on a menu is poor customer service. It is for this reason I have given 3 stars.

Listen, its a budget property so you get what you pay for. But the area isn't great, and a man pooped right outside of the hotel so gotta say it's def not a clean area.

Fine but for the 9am maintenance next door
Everything about the hotel was fine apart from at 9am some sort of maintenance started in the hallway outside our room. Sawing, drilling, hammering against what sounded like the wall of our room. It was inbearable that we had to check out early just to get away from it.

Toilet was blocked, imagine getting to the hotel room at a very late hour and having to rush out for work in the morning and you find out the toilet does not flush!

Lovely staff and great location. We had no hot water in our last morning and water pressure not great. Bathrooms are pods… all in all, quiet expensive for very basic rooms.

Nice hotel, well located near the Palace Theatre. Friendly staff at check in. Clean, compact room with small bathroom. Comfortable bed. Didnt have the breakfast but it was offered at check in.

Had a one night stay here. Room clean warm, decent shower. The breakfast was lovely with good quality produce. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again

Staff are run ragged. Feel very sorry for them. Room far too hot and massive wet patch on carpet. Used paper towel found under bed. This room was £230 for B&B. 3 star hotel for 5 star prices!

Book few nights . They arranged a disable room for me as full booking, The disable bath room water was super slow … Staff arranged a normal room for me and I m happy with it. Overall, very good services !

Comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly. Unable to hear any noise within hotel. Air con cut out a lot, TV didn't work properly, but I didn't spend enough time in the room to be overly concerned about that. Very noisy on Portland Road with late night revellers, and police and ambulance sirens. Take earplugs!
