Disapointing
Really disapointing. The room (I had chosen deluxe with city view to get extra comfort). However, upon arrival the room had no towels, no soap, no blanket and no toilet paper. I was informed that there was no hot water. After asking a few times, I got a towel and soap. The rooftop restaurant was closed, and no food was available on the premise. The reception was completely disinterested in clients and did not respond when I greeted them with a good morning or anything else. Cityview means you look directly at another building across the street - you cannot se anything else.

Clean and very budget friendly! Services are medium due to very few staff! If you expect a basic clean Bed only Accomodation at Hotels.com’s Unbelievable price this is BEST! But they provide only non Ac rooms and for the current temperatures it’s ok!

Enjoyed multiple stays at Hotel Supreme, Madurai
We For three nights anf enjoyed the hospitality of the sraff, the convenience of the strategic location of the hotel to the temples, the rail station and it being siyuatef not too far from the Madurai aitport. The hotel amenities were excellent like delicious food from bteakfast yo lunch and dinner on the roof top restaurant (Surya). Theservices were excellent.

Faulty Towers
Dirty linen on the bed, leaking plumbing in the bathroom, missing light fittings with exposed wiring, no toilet paper or soap, next door to a generator or something similar that ran all night. The hotel has a restaurant but given the issues with the room I wasn't game to try it. I booked via credit card but the front desk would only accept cash. I did have enough money but they didn't have change. I'm sure that you can find a better alternative.

Simple, nice, comfortable
Room was a little pricey, but the staff were helpful, breakfast was decent, and the rooftop restaurant is great. Very convenient to find excellent dinner right on top the hotel. I had to check in at 4am and check out at 2am. It was a simple process thank to the staff. Would stay again!

Typical mid-range Indian hotel with mostly helpful staff, but don't try to convert less than 100 $USD at the gent desk. Rooftop restaurant is enjoyable and serves beer.

Old Horse, not worth the money
Hotel is located favourably but is not worth the money. The Building needs serious renovation. Food quality is pathetic. Staff quality, both in restaurant & front office leaves a lot to be desired. All in all, not worth the money.

My experience at Supreme, not very supreme
My friend and me , two senior citizens stayed for 2 nights and 2 days in March 2013. Both are senior citizens. The complimentary vegetarian breakfast offered was not upto the mark. Some of the dishes were cold and the vada was not well made. Stick to freshly prepared items like dosa. You need to ask for it , otherwise the staff do not tell you that dosa etc are part of the menu. The hotel is very close almost walking distance to major bus stands, railway station and the western gate and gopuram of Sri Meenakshi temple. The street where the hotel is located is a busy street in the heart of Madurai and you do have a good choice of restaurants for both veg and non veg food. The staff ate not all that informed about the local buses and temple timings and types of darshans

Very nice compared to others
This hotel was very nice when compared to the local hotels I found in town. It was clean, had excellent food, the car service was great getting me too and from the hotel to Honeywell Madurai campaus, and the overall stay was EXCELLENT!. I will refer my other Honeywell Colleagues to stay there as well.

For a cheap deal can't complain much
You get what you pay for, the rooms are just good for sleeping. Don't stay here if you intend to stay in your room longer but if you're coming here at night to sleep only then its decent. They do have a nice roof top restaurant.

Reasonably priced hotel
We stayed 1 night. room was OK. Hotel might not be good for long stay. AC had a hard time cooling the room in the late afternoon but OK at night. Veg only resturant but 2 non-veg within 1/2 block. Nice view of the temple from roof-top.

hotel Supreme in Madurai
it is 15 minutes' drive from the airport. It is close to other hotels. it is quite nice except that the lift was often out of service and my room was on the fourth floor, so I had to climb up the stairs on feet! The room was correct, with no bath but a shower. The tv had lots on channels on and the room was clean. The staff is very nice: reception, room cleaners.. In the hotel, you can rent a taxi for the day with A/C or not. Of courses, it will cost you 100 INR more if you take the car with A/C but its is worth because it is very hot!You can even have plane tickets in the travel desk (in the hotel). there is a good restaurant on the top of the hotel with a great view on Madurai! The food is excellent!the staff too!!

Goed gelegen hotel
De ligging van het hotel is prima. Vlak bij de tempel en vlak bij het trein station. Het is allebei nog geen 15 min lopen. Verder is het hotel simpel maar prima. Schoon en netjes, wij konden zien dat ze het aan het renoveren zijn. Op de bovenste verdieping zit een simpel maar leuk top roof restaurant.

Fantastisk vänlig och hjälpsam personal som pratade med mej och hjälpte till med att fixa bil och autoriksha på gatan och berätta vad jag borde betala. De tipsade om bra lokal marknad mm. Nära till flygplatsen och bra när mitt flyg gick mycket tidig morgon. Underbart god frukost och middagsbuffe, väl värt pengarna. Pool och gym. Skönhetssalong som jag fick 20 % rabatt i och var nöjd med massage och hårbehandling. Rekommenderar varmt detta hotell.

niet zo goed als vorig jaar!
teleurstellend! Personeel was vrij grof en brutaal, we voelden ons zelfs een beetje "uitgelachen", jammer, de laatste keer(vorig jaar augustus) was het veel beter! Extra kinderbed was slecht, vies en hard, en bij vooraf boeken stond toch echt op de voucher; "betaald voor 3 personen", dus niet! Moest nog voor een kind bijbetalen was de boodschap, nu is dat natuurlijk geen astronomisch hoog bedrag, maar het gaat mij om het principe. Ga volgend jaar op zoek naar andere accomodatie in Madurai of omgeving!
