“nice hotel and restaurant”

Very nice hotel - don't be put off by the location near the freeway, once you are inside, it's all worth it! Although your room could be noisy because of the traffic but we were fine. Nice swimming pool, and restaurant on the top floor. Basically once you are here don't expect to go anywhere else as it's far away from everything. You can enjoy free wine from 5.30 to 6.30 in the lobby.

“Leaving LA”

I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Monday nights are great as there is a fantastic jazz band on the top floor. This hotel has some intersting quirks. The first is that some residence are post op plastic surgery patients. You don't see these people only their assistants fetching and carrying. The gym is great and the staff are very friendly although they do live up to the stereo typical budding actors awaiting their big break (lovely people). I wouldn't stay anywhere else in LA. One bad point is location to road but it doesn't seem to matter as there to much going on in the hotel. A+++++

“great atmosphere”

Im glad i found this hotel...it has a charming atmosphere especially the live jazz band during the evening. my room was very comfortable and i appreciated the balcony facing the swimming pool.the food in the restaurant is good and i was treated well. would definitely do it again! room service a bit pricey though!!

“Couldn't ask for more”

We stayed two nights at the Hotel Angeleno. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Its location was perfect for us, right by the Getty Center, close to Westwood and West Hollywood and about half an hour from LAX. As a base for getting around LA, this place is ideal. The bar has stunning views and the happy hour is very good value.

“Great hotel, shame about the location”

Overall the hotel was good in terms of the room and service. The restaurant was a little over priced although had great views. The complimentary shuttle service was excellant but only overs a 3 mile radius. Getting into LA proved a bit expensive otherwise with taxi drivers taking longer routes round to bump up the fares but other than this the hotel was great.

“Excellent hotel if you have a car”

This was a superb hotel, first class rooms and a top floor restaurant with wonderful views over LA. It is a 20-30 minute drive from the city centre so you need to allow taxi funds to and fro. However a courtesy limo is available free for a three-mile radius (with an excellent chauffeur Steve) - incidentally this distance covers the Getty Centre. It is also next to a busy freeway so take your ear plugs for a good night's sleep!

Nice hotel. However rooms facing the highway are very noisy even on the 15th floor!
