The front desk staff and the property itself was excellent, my only is was that I requested that housekeeping clean my room from 12:30 pm on the Saturday and I checked out today but never got my room cleaned. I was very disappointed with the housekeeping staff.

Granted we got a call our first night about turning music down in which we did right away and had actually left the hotel from 1030pm-8am. We then got a call early Saturday morning telling us if we get more noise complaints because we had “multiple throughout the night into the morning” we would be kicked out no refund. I then went down the the front to desk to get a further explanation and the manager was condensendinf and rude and had no explanation for the multiple calls when we weren’t even in the room. It was then admitted it was about the night before and the original call. So we got woken up at 930 on Saturday for a reminder about our warning call? Did not appreciate this experience with the staff. Very unnecessary.

The fact that the mattress was very soft and no support at all. uncomfortable. It sinks in the middle, and if you stand away from the mattress and look at it, the foot is high and drops all the way down like a hill. that mattress should definitely be thrown away. Absolutely immediately and the pillows were the worst so soft you had to literally roll them together to try to get some support.

Horrible place to stay for several reasons: 1) Walls are paper thin meaning that you can hear clearly the voices in adjacent rooms even if guests are speaking at normal volume. You can perfectly hear their radios and tvs as well as the movement of any furniture (which regularly shook our bed's headboard). 2) Celings are paper thin as well. Footsteps in the room above are loud and actually rattled our ceiling and lamp overhanging the kitchen desk. 3) There is no sound barrier between the guest room and the hallway. Particularly annoying was an intoxicated party who sang a few bars of music outside our door late at night. 4) Several lamps in the room did not work. 5) One cannot effectively view the television from the bed or the sofa because of how it is situated. 6) Sofa was not clean and its arms had holes worn in them. 7) We were unable to rest comfortably in our room one afternoon because of the loud music in an adjacent room. The loud music reappeared later that night (1:30am) though the other guests did respond to our complaint to the front office. 8) There were several dead insects in the kitchen.

I always trust Hilton's Homewood. It was clean and I rested comfortably. The swimming pool is not big but clean. The hot tub was also nice. The kids had fun playing, and the breakfast was good. I want to come again next vacation ;)

The room was very clean, hotel beautifully decorated. I was on the second floor and the outside light was blaring into the room which made sleeping difficult. The darkening curtains don’t close the window to the outside light. Very annoying! Please do something about that. Heat was so hot I turn it off didn’t work. Hole in the floor of the shower basin. Overall 9 out of ten. Would go back and stay. pool clean but floor very slippery and dangerous

Excellent customer service and clean hotel. The receptionist Sangeeta was very pleasant and the check in process was highly efficient. Additionally, the breakfast was delicous and the staff were always ready to kelp with our requests. I highly recommend this hotel to families or anyone visiting the Plainview area. We will be back.

Terrible mattress
This is my second time staying at this hotel. The first time my husband and I stayed here was actually the night we got married, which was seven years ago. The first time we stayed here, I had no complaints. This time, I have to say, it was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on in a hotel. We barely slept.

Home away from home
This is our second time staying here, and we've enjoyed it both times. Good free hot breakfast, indoor pool and a hot tub (our favorite place), basic but functional fitness center with 2 elliptical machines, a treadmill, recumbent bike and a Peleton stationary bike, along with free weights, mats and a stability ball. Staff are friendly and helpful. Could some of the room decor/furniture be updated? Sure, but it was still comfortable and clean. It's a pet friendly hotel, which may explain the condition of some of the furniture. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, which was very comfortable. It has a kitchen, and the only thing not in the kitchen is an oven, but there is a stove top, so you can cook if you'd like to. This property has central air conditioning/heating. There is plenty of free parking. Lots of restaurants and several Long Island Railroad Stations within a short drive. We enjoyed our stay so much, that we've extended our stay and few more days. Again, even though some of the room decor should probably be updated, we've had a lovely, relaxing staycation, and we'll be back!

I really like the location and their breakfast . Staff were nice. Only downside was the room smelled like cigarettes. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and the tub wasn’t draining well
