We booked a quad room that should have had three beds. They said they don’t have any of those after we got there. Room was constantly hot, and the beds were basically oversized cots that were so worn that they both bowed in the middle.

Clean and functional, perfect for a London trip to see the tourist sights. We had a triple single bed room. It had a hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, and a clean kettle, cups and complimentary tea/coffee etc. 5 mins walk from Bayswater tube station, which has a street full of eateries, Tesco express and various options for breakfast including a McDonald’s. Perfectly safe and quiet at night, we returned a few nights near midnight after various theatre trips.

Good value for cost. Welcome was professional but unexciting. No temp controls for room which was rather warm, but windows opened enough to suffice. No complaints - what I expected when booking this location.

This property is not as advertised. Be very careful when booking. The photos show large clean rooms, instead we received a room that we did not book, we booked a quadruple with double bed and 2 single beds. We arrived early and management had ample time to tell us our room was already booked out, but they did not mention anything until check in time. The beds were very small and did not fit our family. They offered us a rollaway which would not fit in the room. If we had booked 1 night we could have put up with it, but as we had booked 4 nights i told them we could not stay. They took all our money and did not refund me any of the nights booked. They also require that you leave the room key with them when you leave the hotel. I would steer clear of this hotel.

Totally disgusting and disappointing
What we expected and what we experienced was miles apart. Totally disgusting and customer service was horrendous when we complained. Will never stay again and we warn anyone about basement rooms if they think they have booked accommodation based on websites

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, we were in room 303 twin beds on the garden side so it was quiet for sleeping. Liked that we could control the heat, set it to off for entire stay. The shower is small but ok. Good size vanity top by sink to hold all our necessities. Shower shampoo, three small bars of soap were provided, along with 2 large towels and floor mat towel. Instant tea and coffee with milk pods. The TV was small and tv service was poor. The internet was fine. I would stay here again.

Very tired hotel. Single beds were tiny and sheets didn’t fit, and were stained. Cleaners started at 6am and made no attempt to be quiet.

No hot water in the shower. Had a cold shower in the morning in NOVEMBER. Mould and dust on windows. Was sneezing immediately upon trying to sit and relax in the room sitting by the window.

In serious need of investment
There a 3 positives to this hotel, the price was cheaper compared to other hotels, the temperature was comfortable and the reception staff were friendly. Everything else was a negative. The rooms were tiny, dirty and in serious need of investment. There was mould in the shower, hairs in the beds, the paint round the windows was flaking away, the room didn't look like it had been cleaned in 2 weeks. The beds are small and not much more than camp cots, with what appear to be blankets from the market rather than actual duvets. All that being said, the hotel is in a good location to explore London, just don't set your expectations too high.

This place is a hell hole. The paint on the walls is peeling off, the cleanliness is nonexistent, and the shower in the bathroom is not big enough for a baby, let alone a man. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything happening in rooms near you and outside. The staff is off-putting and unfriendly, although the girl could be nice at times. For some reason you can’t leave the hotel with your key, so you have to constantly be dropping it off and picking it back up. However, the neighborhood it is in is excellent and a short walk to the nearest tube station, and the free wi-fi was decent.

Thius place was very cute and conveniently located for my needs. The girl at the front desk was ok. I showed up early but could not get into room till 2. She did say I could put my lugagge in the storage area down in the basement. There was a nice clean bathroom to use and all in all.. she was just doing what she has to do and has done it a million times. The room was very clean and cozy for my one night stay.

Bad hotel, not worth it
Avoid this hotel. The whole room smelt of damp, which hit you as soon as you walked in. The source of damp was mould in the shower room and a wet square patch on the ceiling that could only be caused by more damp above the room. There's no duvets, just sheets and a blanket, the beds are sunk in the centre. No deadbolts on the door, just a simple self locking handle. Paint peeling off the walls and you could hear people in the rooms and corridor around you. Top it all off, hairdryer didn't even work.

The room definitely needs a renovation. It is quite old and the bathroom is not properly ventilated so it never dries out. Keep your bags in the luggage room at your own risk. The identity is not verified and anybody can walk into the luggage room and it’s also not locked all the times.
