We picked Studios2Let based on the reviews of the property and the reasonable cost per night for the standard room. The hotel is at a walking distance from Saint Pancras train station, which is very convenient. The neighborhood is quiet in general, close to many restaurants and cafés. Regarding the room, it is small but well maintained, very convenient for a short stay. The bed is comfortable and the sheets clean. A couple of cons: - The building does not have elevator hence you must be prepared to use the stairs or request a room in the ground floor. - The bathroom of the standard room is quite small which may result inconvenient for tall people. I travelled with my wife and will certainly book it again in the future.

It was unclear to us that by staying here you didn’t get your room cleaned daily, you didn’t get any of your coffee /tea filled daily, you didn’t get new towels every day unless you brought them to the front desk. I had to dump my own garbage. and go to the front desk and ask for toilet paper. This was not disclosed to us when we booked. We were under the impression that this was a hotel, and was told that you have to book for seven days to get your room cleaned once and for anything else you have to do it yourself. I never ever ever would have booked your head I’d known so. We’re on vacation And we would’ve paid more somewhere else. The price of this unit not only was super small for the price and had zero amenities. Our friend stayed right down the street for $60 a night and got full service.

Stay here if your focus is to visit treassures of knowledge on museums AND if you are fit to walk for a number of hours. Expect simplicity and practicity, no luxury. Be sure not to bring a car :-) you wont need it. Subway, british library and british museum are walkable. Buckinham (say hello to Camilla for me), London eye, big ben and others are walkable. 1hour metro to LHR Stay on an executive suite, ask for 4th floor for zero noise... after walking so much, you are going to need it (no elevators, luggage will be a problem if you are not fit). Made breakfast on mini kitchen ourselves. Pubs and restaurants near by Brgds Daniel

It is a short walk from St. Pancras if taking a train into the city. The area around the hotel is very nice and peaceful. The staff is great! The apartments could use some minor renovations.

There were construction works happening during my stay and my room was right next to them so it was very noisy and disruptive. Woke me up at 8:30am and I couldn’t open my curtain because the workers were near my window. However the layout of the room, kitchen facilities and bed were fine.

The area seemed safe but the building did not. The door to our building never locked so you could just push the front door and walk into any hallway with rooms. The front hallway had so many bags of laundry at times ut hard to walk around. The stairs feel like most are broken, VERY spongy. At the tiny landing there was a vacuum and all its parts laying out the entire time of our stay. It made it VERY difficult to carry suit cases up 3 flights, through the doorway and then hallway to get to our room. Not sure what fire standards are there but in the U.S. you cannot see through your door all the way around and call it a fire door. We could not find an emergency way out if there would have been a fire and we couldn't use the door. On the day of checkout we had no water to use the bathroom. Overall i would stay in this area again as the other hotels were better taken care of but i would not stay here again.

Was just there for one night, but it was good. Front desk staff very helpful. Quiet, clean, I had a good sleep before my trip back to Canada the next day. Great location close to St Pancreas International.

Room gone downhill in just two weeks
I stayed in this same room several weeks earlier and it was fine. In the intervening time, the door would no longer lock (!) and the radiator would not turn off. As a result I was far too hot to sleep all night and many would have been too anxious to sleep in a room with an unlocked door.

I stay in these apartments a lot and they are decent and good value. Very good location and round the corner from a nice pub. A bit let down by the old TVs and the beds are not the best, but still decent value.

Superb
I have stayed here for the past 6-7 years. Three times in 2023 and already booked again for 4 nights in April 2024. Staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Rooms are very reasonably priced, large, clean and quiet. Bloomsbury is quite central and I often walk to Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus and other popular areas. However there buses/trains/tube are just a few minutes walk.
