Affordable B & B. Please bear in mind they do keep a £100 deposit and there is no lift. Otherwise, good for a short stay.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were amazing. They couldn’t do enough for you Our room was on the top floor. Lots of stairs no lift. Room was clean tidy and suitable for what we wanted. The toilet system water ran all night but other than that I couldn’t fault it. Would I stay again. Maybe?? The only thing on arrival I was told £100 deposit had to be paid but as I didn’t read the terms and conditions properly I paid it but it was returned at the end of my stay. Overall a pleasant stay.

Need more hooks in the washroom. Need an electric socket in the washroom. Carpets need to be changed as they are stained. A face towel would also be nice. Crack in ceiling. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Great location. Nice neighborhood. Nice old charm to the hotel. Overall good.

This is a budget hotel and it does what it says on the tin, with a little extra! Once I had climbed the stairs ( navigating a disorientating carpet!) I found my room to be smart, clean and welcoming. 3 plug sockets - enough to charge everything, clean and well stocked bathroom with modern shower. Also a well stocked refreshments tray with all the normal tea, coffee etc .could have done with a larger cup or a mug rather than the tiny cup with no saucer! The room was very warm but it was also easy to open the window and being so high up noise wasn’t really a concern. I had read prior to booking that ‘the stairs’ are an issue being reasonably fit I didn’t consider it much of a problem. For the price it’s probably a small thing. I had a heavy backpack and was on the 4th floor which is actually several more steep staircases than that! Given the price it wasn’t the biggest problem but if I’d had a suitcase it might have been and certainly if you have hip or joint problems you may want to request a room on lower floors! A safe, convenient budget hotel for an overnight stay only 4 mins walk from Paddington station and all the tube connections. Also nice little park across the road for a quiet moment!

The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The place was clean. The space was small, but perfect since we were not spending much time in the room. We were out seeing the sights. Very close to Pattington Station and Hyde Park. Close to take away coffee and pastry’s

Arrived and had to give 100.00 deposit on room to be put back onto card. Room was in basement kettle didn’t work shared toilet and as all night check in the person in the room next to mine arrived 130am kept shouting and slamming door travelling as a woman on my own it didn’t feel safe to open my door but had too to go to toilet which was next to my room so all night the door next to me kept banging and toilet flushing. Was glad to leave next morning. Plus point was lovely lady who checked me in and told me about ask Italian which I got discount with hotel business card. Guess you get what you pay for and won’t be going back but was very convenient to Leicester gate tube station. Had to also hand room key in when I went to eat.

The 100 pre-authorisation is a common practice against the room damage cover and it is clearly stated in our terms and conditions, at the time of your booking. The key is stored at the reception, for the safe keeping, and part of good fire safety practice. We appreciate our location here in Paddington, close to Lancaster Gate, Paddington and Elizabeth line stations.Unfortunately, some guests are noisy, beyond our control. Are you suggesting there is an orchestra of different musicians playing at Lancaster Court, all nights? In that case, we better start charging for this additional service!!

Good location. Room was far too hot and radiator could not be turned off . It was boiling in a small room even with window open . As we were on ground floor this did not feel safe but we were so hot we had no choice . Would not stay again for this reason. Friendly staff though

Good value hotel for a night near Paddington. Good transport links and had a quiet room. The carpets and decour are a bit dated and the bed was a bit soft but the hotel is clean, cheap and ok for a short stop.

This hotel is the worst hotel I’ve ever had the dis pleasure of staying in. We are a couple on our late 50s and after being told there is a £100 deposit to be taken which we didn’t know about we were given our room key being the very top floor and so some 63 stairs later we managed to get our case into the room. The room was dark dingy and smelly. The kettle was no we’re near the only socket in the room so we had to move the kettle to the only socket which was six inches from the radiator. Very dangerous but that was that. After we left we told the receptionist if had a nosebleed on the night as thought it the right thing to do. The hotel immediately charged the £100 holding deposit and on checking out online banking app they had taken the illegal liberty of taking another £50 for themselves too. This is a scam hotel. Please avoid at all costs

It is entirely contrary to your baseless assumptions as we had to dispose off all of your stained white goods i.e. replacement of Double bed duvet, replacement of double sheets x 3, replacement of two premium pillows and replacement of pillow covers x 6, over your 3 night stay. Our charge was, in fact, BELOW COST.To add to your further insult, to our already sustained financial injury, you then misrepresent to the truth to the world.May God make you feel good about the dishonesty of your comments. As discussed we are happy to share the (the undercharged) Invoice, however, your email address has repeatedly failed.

The hotel was a very good value. The rooms were small but cozy and very clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. We slept well and felt very welcome. The location is amazing. Very convenient to Paddington Station and Hyde Park. The neighborhood is nice with lots of good food options and friendly restaurants.

This property was very conveniently located. Its about two blocks away from Paddington Station and has a lot of food options. The room was a little small, but then again most family rooms in Europe are and we spent most of our time out and only slept there. Amr was the night manager who received us and was very kind and knowledgeable recommended where to get food and basic get around knowledge of our area and London. Great staff.

A disaster. On arrival i was unexpectedly made to pay £100 deposit which I was told would be refunded immediately on checkout. The shower was cold. When I complained I was told I was rude. My £100 still not in my back account. I regret having stayed here. I will even consider using Hotels.com again if they have this type of hotel on their list

We were sorry to read of your concerns however we must vehemently protest at such an unfair and unjust and untrue account! Firstly it was NOT a deposit! It was merely a Pre-Authorisation that was held by your bank to our order in case of any trouble or damages or extra's in your room.We tried to reverse the pre-authorisation ( NOT A CHARGE AT ALL OR DEPOSIT), which we did upon your check out as we do with all our well behaved guests who don't have any extra's like delayed check-outs or towels tucked away in their suitcases or damages to their rooms!You saw that I was doing the same for 3 other guests in front of you! They all got their holds removed immediately!We tried to explain this fact as you were watching us in action! However you failed to accept our word or the words of our other very satisfied guests who were right in front of you!Thus they commented that it was you who was rude to us not the other way around as you seem to be suggesting!If your bank ie. Revolut likes to keep holding on to your monies to earn massive interest in the overnight money markets and cause a fuss to return it to you then surely this blame CANNOT be laid at our doorstep!!

Value in Paddington
Hotel is well placed for Paddington station and transport links and other amenities value. My room (single) was good value for central London but room was rather cramped and 4th floor up some steep and narrow stairs. There is no lift so will be challenging for someone who struggles with fitness. However suited my purpose for a one night stay.

The location was ideal! Walked to wherever I needed to go, and took the train located a block away. It’s so accessible yet away from the hustle & bustle of city living. Staff was awesome too!

Window is non-existent and held up by rope alone!!!! Letting in all the noise of the road outside and cold!! Very poor alongside no hot water....overall very unpleasant stay. Bathroom also so small I physically could not stand or even sit on the toilet without inconvenience!

During the online reservation there was not Eritrea that the Roma had a shared bathroom. The Rooms where ultra small, bad smell, old furniture.
