I wish I could put photo’s to this review, the place can only be described as a garbage can. The staff are all unhelpful, I ordered COVID tests to be delivered, I had proof of delivery in photo form and also a verbal confirmation from a staff member by phone, when we arrived at the hotel they could not find the two packages. I had to book in person tests to be sure I complied with requirements. The room itself was filthy, the bathroom was eighteen inch step up from the floor and also had mold growing on the door frame and walls. One mattress was completely worn out and the outer cover had holes in it. The bedding consisted of a bottom sheet that did not fully fit the mattress, a top sheet and a thin cover. This was the same on both beds.
The entrance door to the room was falling off, the screws in the top hinge could be turned with my fingers. The outside temperature was very close to freezing but there was no heat in the hotel, all staff had thick coats on at all times.
When we first arrived we found that the room, even though it had just been checked, supposedly, by a member of staff had no towels or soap. When I booked the room it was supposed to have a kettle to make tea or coffee with plus coffee or and tea and cups. The only thing in the room was four mugs.
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and have traveled extensively around the world. My recommendation is that Expedia take this off their list of hotels in London.
