Worst hotel ever!!
Absolutely disgusting hotel! First room was on the top floor and was so bad and smoking was clearly done here that we moved.. 2nd no much better but you know what I would not even let rats stay here!! Dirty, mouldy.. no tea/coffee even if there was I would avoid.. no house keeping, no smoking yet smelt so bad of smoke! Bed was stained to high heaven .. funky substance on the wall … HOTELS.COM SHOULD BE ASHAMED in putting there name to this!! AVOID they should be closed down! If I could load more pictures I would!

A absolute disgrace
Room was a single they gave me double, in basement, number 21 seemed to be an in joke. 1 blanket 1 sheet. Heating ok. Toilet had black slime in it. Shower missing side panel, room small no light. Dismal, depressing and the worst service, no signal, wifi weak awful

Very poor condition, mould everywhere and the room was smelling horrible The door from the bathroom blocked and someone had to come and open. Everything there is very old and dirty But for the value and the location i don't give the worst review!

Well what can i say its a 1 star hotel.. so don't expect much at all. Not very clean at all and not much care goes into the rooms. I would take hand sanitizer with you for sure. No towles, no tea or coffe just about got a kettle and a stained cup. Be wear.

Awful. The bed was the worst I’ve ever slept in, all I felt was metal springs on my back. The guy at the desk said he gave me the double room which I only requested single room. It was not, however double room. Furthermore they mention free WiFi on their website when they charge money for it only cash! Sketchy!

Noise issues was well dealt with, but the hotel is old and dated, has a very Dingy smell!, needs refurbishment, dirty carpet, bed linen dirty, No TV, cracked toilet, no heating, awful!

This hotel was only £50 for the night so I wasn't expecting a lot. But it was a really unpleasant experience. I could overlook aspects like the poor condition of the building/room and general cleanliness. But what was particularly annoying was the fact there were no towels provided (not made clear before booking) so I had to dry myself with the bed sheets. Shower temperature did not work either so was stuck on scalding hot. Also no shampoo or conditioner (but you do get a bar of soap) . There is also a kettle but no coffee or tea sachets provided?!? If towels were provided then this hotel could maybe pass as acceptable, but I certainly won't be staying again. Spend £20 extra on somewhere else you can actually take a shower.

I am very disappointed in this property, the window had no curtain and didn’t close properly. There was no duvet and the bathroom was disgusting. I couldn’t sleep here so had to find somewhere else. I am not happy at all with this. I will not be recommending this place to anyone and think an inspection needs to be done.

Good location, bad hotel
Mouldy bathroom, no towels provided, mugs and kettle provided but no tea/coffee etc. Couldn't leave bags early, 1 minute past check out time got a knock on the door to tell us to leave. Kept getting calls asking us when we will check in or what time we would be back that night. Cheapest around but there's lots of reasons why. Good location though

I wish I could put photo’s to this review, the place can only be described as a garbage can. The staff are all unhelpful, I ordered COVID tests to be delivered, I had proof of delivery in photo form and also a verbal confirmation from a staff member by phone, when we arrived at the hotel they could not find the two packages. I had to book in person tests to be sure I complied with requirements. The room itself was filthy, the bathroom was eighteen inch step up from the floor and also had mold growing on the door frame and walls. One mattress was completely worn out and the outer cover had holes in it. The bedding consisted of a bottom sheet that did not fully fit the mattress, a top sheet and a thin cover. This was the same on both beds. The entrance door to the room was falling off, the screws in the top hinge could be turned with my fingers. The outside temperature was very close to freezing but there was no heat in the hotel, all staff had thick coats on at all times. When we first arrived we found that the room, even though it had just been checked, supposedly, by a member of staff had no towels or soap. When I booked the room it was supposed to have a kettle to make tea or coffee with plus coffee or and tea and cups. The only thing in the room was four mugs. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and have traveled extensively around the world. My recommendation is that Expedia take this off their list of hotels in London.

Worst hotel stay ever had in 30 years! Broken heating, no towels, no soap, broken beds, dirty walls, broken tv... pitiful excuse for a hotel... advertised on this site as a 2 star but staff admired it’s a 1 star... 1 guest arrived at same time as us refused to stay ... staff were horrible to him.. there’s so many flights of stair... and some are broken... the list goes on and on... more guests had no toilet roll i know all this coz everyone who checked out at same time as us had a long list of complaints and we all agreed worst hotel ever.... that’s an exceptionally unusual thing to happen. DO NOT STAY!

The worst experience ever. Imagine going to a hotel you are being changed the room three times in three days. The staff very rude and disrespectful. This hotel should not be in your list of hotels in London. Very bad conditions, very cold in the rooms. The beds are broken. This is a scam hotel. Apart from the worst conditions i paid extra money for the hotel. So instead of paying 103 pounds i laid 123 pounds.

The room is totally unsanitary, there is mold on the walls, the heating is off at night, so it was very cold, moreover the bathroom is really old and there was a bad smell when we entered and the shower water does not drain completely and the shower head was barely holding thanks to the tape. The mattresses are very old and hard, you can feel the springs when you sleep. In addition, the cleanliness of the place left something to be desired, the table in the room was sticky as if a liquid had been spilled on it and that it had not been cleaned and hair / fur were also found in the bed. the staff are rude when you ask for something. It should also be noted that wifi is chargeable.

As a budget hotel we didn’t expect much however when entering the hotel there was a strong cigarette smell. The man at the front desk was neutral in the sense he wasn’t rude but also not welcoming either. Upon entering the room we noticed the “pretty” top sheet was very old looking and had stains. When we pulled back the top sheet the white sheet underneath also had stains and was the only other thing on the bed. There was no mattress protector which in turn revealed a horrible mattress underneath. It looked to be as old as I am with all the wear, tear and stains to go with. There was general wear and tear around the room with black mould around the window on the bottom left hand side. The bathroom had black mould all over the ceiling. The shower drain didn’t have a cover so just left the drain exposed and there was a very unpleasant smell. The toilet paper holder was broken so the paper was left on top of the toilet and the broken holder remained on the wall. The vanity sink was dripping with water. Whilst we were in the room we could hear the full conversation of the neighbouring room. Due to the bed not being clean we decided that it was too unhygienic too sleep in. We grab our bags went downstairs and told the man we couldn’t stay in that room as it’s too dirty. He told us that it was the best room they have. We said sorry but we can not sleep in a bed like that and we would like a refund. He said to take it up with expedia and that was that.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The streets would have been better. Floor was very dirty and stained. Reeked and bathroom smelled so bad I had to hold my breathe. Couldn’t take shower because I couldn’t hold my breath long enough. Bathroom had a ft step up to enter. Hit my head coming out of it.

This was booked in a rush and so I had to learn my lesson the hard way. I arrived to damp spots on the walls and a horrible smell of mould. That smell was on my clothing throughout my stay in London. Being unable to cancel via Hotels.com was also a great disappointment.
