“polite, friendly, helpful staff; perfect combination of facilities”

This hotel had everything I needed for my business trip: wired Net access, free shuttle service for the reasonably close airport and rail station, free office facilities, free local phonecalls, and free coffee. The staff were outstanding: competent, relaxed, courteous, and even smartly dressed. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable; I'd have preferred a firmer mattress, but that's just a matter of taste. My only complaints: hot running water was unavailable for a couple of hours on one day of my stay, but that was fixed promptly; on one occasion I booked the shuttle to the rail station and the record of my booking was lost, but that was also dealt with without fuss so I still made my train; and the swimming pool was closed for the duration of my stay, but I didn't even know there was one until I arrived and wouldn't have wanted to use it had the weather not been so unseasonably warm. I would be more than happy to stay here again and congratulate the staff and the company on the fine service I received.

“Quite comfortable”

Had a business appointment in Newark, so this was a convenient location, good value, comfortable and good breakfast. Infinitely better than another hotel we'd stayed at in Irvington 2 years ago.
