Disappointing
Not worth the money sadly. It has so much potential for those that enjoy the older style motel but not worth the money in its present state. We love to stay in the older style motels but this one was very overpriced for its condition

An older roadside motel, somewhat updated, very clean, new carpeting, clean bathroom, clean linens, firm mattress, convenience fridge, small microwave, tv, phone, easy parking outside the room, everything working and in good condition. Very nice owner. Low price. Great value for a stopover, short stay, working stay.

This is traditional motel that you drive up to. Honestly, way more convenient than having to go inside to access you room. Things were a little dated but in good order and just added to the classic vibe

Yes you do that for us. as you are not allowed in our 100% smoke free property to smoke in . i hope you find hotel/motel that has a smoking room.

Gentleman who checked us in was very pleasant, especially given that we checked in very late. This is a classic roadside motel with updated finishings. Clean, comfortable and great AC.

Room was run down, office dirty. Owner Mike was totally unfriendly and rude. Toilet clogged was handed a filthy plunger and had to fix it

Good spot to stay for a quick overnight on a road trip. Convenient, clean, reasonable. Take a trip back in time- it’s a 60/70s motel with the only 2 upgrades the door lock and the TV.

I didn’t like anything about this hotel. I reserved three rooms for our trip and when we got there, hotel was ugly and they didn’t let us stayed even though we had a reservation. They also charge me $100 fee. The Indian guy was super rude. Never ever go there!

Wouldn’t stay again.
This motel is outdated. The room has a strange smell, not sure what it was. Would not stay here again. It was definitely overpriced. No restaurants near by; just Arby’s and McDonalds. Did’t have a hairdryer.

Office attendant gave hard time because we still have Pennsylvania id's and have recently moved to south carolina and "they dont rent rooms to people who live within a 30 mile range". First stated he didnt have a smoking room then after verifying address by new lease he rented a room to us that was smoking.

The only good pay is that they had availability last minute when I needed it... No toothbrush, toothpaste, ice, soap or other amenities that we needed

My typical Pine Grove hotel of choice was all booked on the weekend I was intending to stay, so I read reviews on some other local hotels to find a runner-up. The reviews for this hotel were generally very good, all stating the place is simple, but very clean, so I picked it since that's my main concern. Over-all that "simple but clean" description is very correct. The only downside, and this is a BIG one, is make sure you get a "front" room!. If you get a room around the back, you'll hear the people in the room above you walking around all night! I don't know if the people above us were being particularly rowdy or if the structure of the building just transmits every little noise, but it sounded like an elephant ballet up there! tl;dr: Nice place, get a front (top-floor) room or roll the dice on the room above you being vacant.

It was very basic but clean. The checkin is a little weird. The office is connected to someones home. So I rang the bell and someone came out but they said they couldn’t help- they had to call the manager. He was there in about 3 minutes so no big deal but the process seemed strange. But for $87, I guess I can’t complain
