Hotel was near the lake and the dock. Front was excellent but the hallway was falling apart.Dirt in all corners and saw a sentipeds in the lift.The female receptionist is not welcoming.I ask if my friwnt can come to wash her face in my room she said only 5 minutes.My friend can be a potential customer ad they are coming back to bellagio with family next few months but not happy with the female receptionist.The male receptionist is more helpful and explained about out stay in the hotel. Thenproperty needs looking after its looks like its flling apart.

Great Bellagio location
A very reasonable hotel in an excellent location. Perfect for walking all around Bellagio and steps away from ferries to other lake locations. Gloria was so helpful with logistics for transportation in the area.

Great stay! This location is unbeatable. The hotel has an old charm to it. It isn’t remodeled, but cleanliness and charm make up for everything. I would stay here again.

The hotel was in an amazing area- perfect location with shops, restaurants all around. Amazing water view of the Lake. Small, simple no frills room, which I feel is very standard for much of Europe, but the value of the hotel due to the location for the price was exceptional. Breakfast included was perfect. Would absolutely recommend if you're looking for a great location at a great price.

The place is very nice but just too expensive for what it is. We’re now in lake Garda at a hotel half the price and the hotel itself is twice as good. Hotel room average in Como but pool was quite nice. That was all the hotel had to offer really.

Quality stay.
Conveniently located hotel! The staff was helpful. The room was nice and the air conditioner worked well. The breakfast every morning was nice. The pool came in handy during the hot Italian summer.

Best location! Would stay again.
I loved this hotel, tall ceilings in the room, we had a view of the lake, and it had a grandeur to it of old. The beds were very firm though, which is why I didn’t give it an excellent rating, and it was a little noisy until about 11:30 pm. Ok if you’re a night owl. Overall really loved it and would stay again! Our view from the room is included in this review.

Excellent location, right in bellagio. Because of this parking was difficult but friendly staff helped find some free parking nearby after we dropped our bags off on site. Right near shops restaurant and ferry port

This place had the best staff in all of Italy. The receptionist was so good to us. It is an old hotel so you must be understandable. The breakfast buffet was perfect. Had a view that was right on the lake. Bellagio is amazing

A pleasant stay
The hotel is in a fantastic location for the lake and surrounding restaurants and bars. The hotel itself could do with a refurbishment but on saying this it felt traditional in its decor and our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was pleasant but basic.

Great view
The hotel is in a brilliant spot. It is right on the lake and very near the ferry. I had a lake view room and had a great view of the lake. Check in was quick and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and an excellent bathroom. It was very clean and tidy. The breakfast is between 730 and 930. Things did run out and were not replaced or when asked was told there was no more and then someone else asked and it was replaced. Some of the towels had a holes in them. I had to ask for toilet roll as it was not replaced. There is no fridge or tea making facilities in the room which would have been useful.

Historic Hotel Bellagio promenade -Great Value
We stayed two nights at this historic hotel. The lobby is beautiful and the reception by Francisco at the front desk was great. We stayed in room 36 (which was an upgrade to our original reservation). It has french doors that when open had an unbelievable view of Lake Como. The breakfast was typical for a standard European hotel. In addition to the standard backed breads and cerals there was fruit, yogurts, cheese, coldcuts eggs and bacon all laid out in a historic dining room. The staff at the hotel and across the street at their waterfront restaurant were all friendly. We were there in the off-season (October) so while the pool was open it was a bit chilly to swim. There were some bad reviews of the hotel that in our opinion were unfounded. Compared to hotels (motels) in the US this us a fantastic value. Where else can you stay with a room directly on Lake Como at this price range? We highly recommend.

Being in Bellagio allowed us to travel the lake by ferry and visit other areas. The views are beautiful and the food is delicious. I never know traveling by ferry was so easy.

This property is a few minute walk away from the pier. I love the view from our room because I chose the one with the lake view. The breakfast though has only a few options. Good thing we only stayed for s night.

Location is great- super in fact. They give you plenty of hangers. Other than these 2 factors everything else is poor, shabby and dreary looking. Not a happy look for people on holiday. This is a hotel from the last century. Everything is so outdated including the room key which is the heavy metallic type with the room number engraved on it. All we have to do to enter any room is ask for a key. No id check. That bothered me, so I didn't feel very secure as I'm used to key cards. The exhaust fan & light of the bathroom are connected & its loud. The breakfast is poor quality like white bread & it's only till 9:30-- rushing people who are on holiday. I don't know why they can't have it open till 10:00 at least, like normal hotels. I will not go back again to this hotel and Expedia should not have it on their list.
