Terrible experience with service and hospitality. It’s a shame that big hotel like this is in bad condition.Manager was hopeless and unable to help with even small problem.

Hotel is old and dated but staff are very friendly. Worst thing is people smoking in the bar which also only has local beers even though the menu states imported beers
Very clean room, friendly staff, good meal.I was really happy to stay this hotel

Stepping back into the 1970’s
It was probably a posh hotel many years ago. Staff friendly. Don’t book hotel for the pool you will be disappointed. The hotel has everything one needs just old and worn out. Hotel needed a refer 20 years ago.
No comment. I have no comment. I am unable to complete this evaluation because of your persistence to give additional information, for which I have no comment,

The glory years have passed.
I stayed here ten years ago and everything was new and
beautiful! Now the carpets are frayed, tile is cracked
And only the great staff make it worthwhile! They were great, the food was delishes, and yes the views have changed.
The room was so hot and the heat was supposedly off. We were uncomfortable the entire five nights we were there. I could not recommend this hotel. It needs a complete renovation.

won't stay here again
No AC in the rooms and it can gt hot day and night; we had trouble sleeping. Beds and pillows are hard. Area is noisy and not the best area of the city. They had a tatoo convention on the night we stayed with all kinds of nefarious characters in the lobby. The manager was helpful changing us to another room because we could not sleep with the noise; it was still noisy, but not his fault.
It old hotel , old decorations , bad AC , weak WIFI .
but the restaurants are good .

Likeable in La Paz
People were really nice and were very accommodating for our early check in, room was in need of updating but comfortable. There was heat but no A/C which meant it got a little warm during the day but at least we could open the window. ALL the staff were super friendly.

Nice hotel and location
Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good. Taxi service was very good and reliable.
Avoid this hotel- the food is terrible, and the water in the pool is a disgusting green color. Worst of all,it says the airport shuttle is "free," yet when you get to the airport, the driver asks for more and more money in Bolivianos to rip you off.
We loved our stay at the Real Plaza Hotel and Convention Center. The staff were all extremely friendly, we had access to free wi-fi, and most importantly we felt safe and comfortable in the hotel!
The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and made us feel safe during our stay in La Paz. It was great to have the free wifi in all areas of the hotel, as well as have the availability of restaurant and bar right in the hotel as well. Not too far from the airport, and also easy access to walking around the downtown part of the city. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
The staff is very helpful and always willing to help. However, there is a plumbing issue. I was on the 10th floor and when the toilet was flushed in another room my bathrooms horrible smell would be in my bathroom. The rooms need to be updated. Overall, I would recommend the hotel because of being close to the downtown area, accessible to public transportation, cleanliness and great breakfast.
It was good to have space and a be based in a more up market area after being on a tour. The hotel is a bit tired and could do with a refurb - however it is clean and the staff were pleasant. The pool is indoors, although it was listed as being outdoors. The sauna was not in working order and I could not see a gym. There was limited breakfast at 5am but this was better than nothing before having to head off for an early start.

A bit shabby, but we'd stay again.
The hotel was once quite grand, but hasn't been kept up well. However, the service was impeccable. Restaurant food was quite good, and the view from the 15th floor restaurant was perfect. If in La Paz again, we would stay here again.
The minibar needs to be more complete. Do not have A/A and is cold outside but there is no way to ghet the cold air in the room. Is a bit noisy outside and can not close the windows since there is no FAN o A/A. Now there is heater.
Hotel Staff & Restaurant are great.

Good hotel, let down by a few taxi drivers
The hotel is clean and comfortable all the staff are friendly and speak a good level of English so better than others. The restaurant in the hotel is okay not earth shattering if you are looking for something a little better and consequently cheaper I would head out into La Paz. The breakfast and room service menu's are good. Room service was quick and efficient faster than what I had experienced elsewhere.
The only thing that let down our stay at the hotel was the untrustworthy taxi company the hotel use. the prices for the same journeys are never the same, one of the drivers a thief as we left our camera in his car accidentally when going back to the hotel and the company he denied any knowledge of us leaving a camera in the car. This was reported to the hotel as soon as we could.
The taxi's the hotel are using are very tired and probably in poor working order from the experience that we had. We spoke to the owners of the taxi company the hotel uses and they were very professional and courteous they are only let down by a few drivers
And I mean that in a good way. Doesn't have as much character as some hotels, but gorgeous views from the top floor, helpful staff and rapid laundry turnaround! Free wifi as well.

Dear Guest,
Thank you, your evaluation helps us improve.
We are glad that the actitid of my classmates made your stay more enjoyable.
From all of us ....... THANKS
The hotel is centrally located and well kept. It is of note that the hotel has no air conditioning. The room tended to get warm. Attempts to cool down met with limited success. Turning on the fan only provided warm air. There is no thermostat in the room. To cool the room the only option is to open the window. The hotel offered to provide a fan for use in the room.
The hotel breakfast begins at 4:30am to support early travelers. The day I left there was no breakfast at opening and no indication that preparation was underway.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Radisson. The staff was very helpful and accommodating with all of our needs. The room had a great view of the city and mountains. The rooftop restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting La Paz!

Haven at 13,000 feet
A good, comfortable hotel at a reasonable price. You may need some extra comfort, because of the altitude of La Paz, Bolivia. It affects me by leaving me feeling fatigued the first day, so I slept most of that day. They let me in to the room early (American Airlines from Miami lands around 5:30 AM), and didn't charge extra.
The Hotel was very clean and the staff were professional. Although I would not be advertising this as an Airport hotel!!! It is in the middle of town along with many other hotels that are cheaper and just as good.
Warning: Worst Hotel staff in LA PAZ BOLIVIA! RADI
Warning: Worst Hotel staff in LA PAZ BOLIVIA! RADISON HOTEL.....This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. And I would advise anyone not to stay at the RADISON HOTEL. My own decision is clear, because this experience was too traumatic, so I would not risk it again to have my stay spoiled by this kind of hotel staff.
The hotel itself was great - good location, very comfortable room, and a delicious breakfast buffet included -but we had a very bad experience with the staff.
We had some friends who were going to stay with us for a few hours while they waited for their flight. When the staff found out, they told us we weren't allowed to have 4 people in a room - even though they had rooms with 2 queen beds. The manager told us that this was how it worked in the US as well - a boldface lie that was offensive to people who travel for work here in the US. Then he went so far as to force our friends to leave the hotel altogether.
It was disappointing consider the hotel itself was quite pleasant.
I know that may be is because latin America, If that is the reason; I did not feel that i was staying at the radisson, it felt like motel room in the states. totally outdated room that were as small as a hotel room gets. Sorry I this is not what the tradicional radisson is like, but it may very well be the best La Paz has to offer, when it comes to hotels.
We were only there from about 9pm to 5am as we had a late flight getting there and an early flight home in the morning. But, it is beautiful. The room was clean and very comfortable. We ordered room service when we got in for a light meal. Quinoa soup and shrimp cocktail... The soup was delicious and the shrimp cocktail was the best I have ever eaten. We had an early start in the morning but the wake up call was on time and the cab we arranged to the airport was there waiting - they did everything we needed them to do. Very impressive from what we could see!
Very good hotel.
Excellent restaurant and breakfast facilities.
Very nice and helpful staff, especially after arriving in bad shape due to altitude and a long bus trip.
The hotel also has the best location of the major hotels in La Paz. Central but
still rather quiet. I can definitively recommend it to anyone going to La Paz.
When I arrived at Bolivia, I got to stay at this wonderful hotal! I was breath taken by the heavenly desgin inside out! I enjoyed the view from my room, I got to see the view of the city and all its glory! The food was like mana from heaven! I was sad when i had to leave and at that point I learned all great things must come to an end!!
