This hotel met all my needs as a single traveller. Unlike many other hotels in Scotland (in affordable range) it is warm and comfortable with updated plumbing and electrics. The bed was for one though.

Front desk staff was great. Adjoining bar and restaurant was average or less bartender needed to be more courteous morning breakfast wasn’t worth the price otherwise everything was

The hotel, although recently renovated, feels a bit tired. It’s the nicest hotel in the surrounding area! Towels were fab. Very walkable.

Safe and friendly
I arrived and was met by the friendly staff who showed me to my room which was safe and comfortable. The only downside was the noise from other rooms but I think this is the nature of the building.

The rooms are extremely small and narrow. This hotel is definitely not worth $120 a night. I was supposed to pay upon arrival (as I was traveling with a couple of friends), but the desk clerk charged them to my card without even asking. Not much in Kyle but close to Isle of Skye so I guess that is why they charge the high prices for this very mediocre property.

Reception on check in was a bit grumpy but evening lass was very nice. The beds were the awful. Lumpy & it felt like a spring, or something, was poking me all night. Bath on the other hand was lovely though we had no hair dryer.
