Great hoilday
Totally relaxing,room cleaned daily fresh sheets and towels ,the service was above and beyond reception staff fantastic sorted out any problems prompt,the hotel is on the beach where you can find a variety of restaurants and bars,hotel situated at quite end of the beach,hotel restaurant and chambermaid staff always met you with a smile and delivered great service

Nice location, with good access to the beach, however the beach is littered with plastic rubbish, most hotels make an attempt to collect it daily, Tango Beach could make more of an effort to do so! The staff are great, helpful and friendly.

Great value hotel
Great value hotel , rustic, which is good. Service excellent. Bar and food on the beach takes some beating. Quiet but within walking distance to the noise and action.

Excellent budget hotel
The hotel is fantastic - but please be aware of Naka Jet Ski operating on the beach near to the hotel. They will defraud you at the earliest possibility for non-existent damage!

Good value. This is our third stay at Tango Beach. It may not be the newest hotel in Chaweng, but it is good value, clean and the English-speaking staff are very helpful. The beach restaurant did not seem quite up to its standards of previous years.

Cosy beachfront hotel,lovely rooms, friendly staff
We have stayed at the Tango Beach Resort only for 1 night and we enjoyed our stay. Small lovely hotel, nice rooms, lovely beachfront restaurant, nice spacious gym, very friendly and helpful staff. The only thing I didn't like was the pool. It seems like it needs to be updated. Otherwise all was good. I would stay here again.

Horrible!!
Bed sheets were covered with blood stains. A wide windows in the bathroom from the floor up so that you See people walking outside (and the other way around), A strong smell of sewerage in the room as well. When i told the receptionist the proplem with my room she loughed at my face. I was supposed to stay there for 6 nights and i left after one night. The entire stay there was absolutely horrible.

We stay here regularly. It's a nice, cheap hotel on the beach but mainly close to the airport. And a short walk from the centre of Chaweng for shopping.

Great location
We stay here regularly on our way to and from Koh Phangan. It's right on the beach in the heart of Chaweng and very close to the airport. Nice pool, nice staff, nice everything. Great for the price.

Mango at the Tango
Enjoyable 3 day stay with Resort located facing onto the Beach. Enjoyed a meal and breakfast on the Beach followed by lovely beach walks. Great atmosphere at the Tango Beach Resort

The location of the hotel was great and the staff was very friendly, but we had a very strong smell of sewage in our bathroom which was strong enough to fill our entire room. Other than this, we were very satisfied with our stay at Tango Beach Resort!

Very Good Stay
I was impressed by Tango Beach. Polite, helpful and courteous staff, clean rooms, a good design and lovely pool in the middle. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff polite and attentive and it was great to be able to eat on the beach. Most of all the reception staff were the best, friendly and caring.

Lovely hotel by the beach
Went via topcashback and booked junior suite as cheaper than double room. We were actually ill with flu for most of our stay but the hotel room was very comfy with lots of films to watch as we were both bed bound. 7/11 and pharmacy literally across the road luckily as we both struggled to get out of bed. Staff accommodating and easily provided fan when air con was making us worse. Beautiful beach location. Restaurant staff service a bit slow but wasn't really a big thing.

Hotel very well situated next to beach and relaxed beach restaurants and has main road at the front to get to other routes (chewang,bangrak) rooms clean and big enough although a touch dated. Staff pleasant and non intrusive which suited myself. Overall good stay and would stay again considering the price.

Average hotel in good location
Great location 10min walk to main chaweng street, lots of shops/bars around. Right on the beach which is lovely, staff friendly but tried to charge us for a bottle of water we didn't use in the mini bar. Down side is the pool was dirty and not many sunbeds hotel needs an upgrade. But layout is nice, take loads is mozzy spray loads in the room and everyone was getting bitten.

The hotel was in need of renovation all the windows and doors had gaps therefore mosquitos were able to get in.Although on the beach the sunbeds were in the shade in the afternoon because of the over hanging of huge trees in front of the restaurant.The place would be much proved if the roofs were fixed ,a good joiner employed to hang windows amd doors correctly and the greenery cut back as to allow more light and sun into the hotel and swiming pool.

Nice value hotel on the beach
Really great location on the beach and close to restaurants, massage and 7-11. Room was of a nice size and even had a futon-like sofa that could be made into a bed. Pool was nice and the staff was very helpful and nice.

Ok, nothing special. Room was quite old, could do with a touch up, but was still comfortable. Noisy wake up at 7am as room was right next to pool. The beach wasn't too nice. Big, broken pontoon right in front of hotel! Staff were nice and restaurant was awesome!

I enjoyed the hotel / resort facilities. The beach is nice as well as the pool. When I stayed at the hotel, winds made the surf a little high for swimming. The staff was very good. My room was S1. It is located next to the kitchen. I would NOT stay in that room. I could smell food inside my room anytime they were cooking. I could also hear kitchen noise very early in the morning.

Very dangerous hotel
I had 4 night stay in Tango beach resort from Friday 31st of January to 4 of February , the second night I come home late and in my room around 03.30 the morning. I did not fall asleep and around 04.30, there are some short circuit in cables in electrical installation outside my room. This is the same place as my air condition is located and the air condition drags smoke from the short circuit, luckily I smell the smoke and I get out of my room a notice the reception. Before I get the air condition turned off the smoke is so heavy in my room that I can’t breath. The reception are very slow, and he take no attention to people in the other rooms who potential can be killed in the smoke if there air condition takes in the some to their rooms. After a long argument the receptions start investigate if the rooms next to my room also have smoke inside. Luckily no one get hurt. But it hard to understand that there no smoke detectors and the reception don't do anything to find out of other have rooms filled with smoke. After this I will not move into the same rooms, as this is a potential dead trap. After another long discussing with the receptionist, I get moved to another room, even he in the beginning claims that there no other rooms available. The day after I’m asked to PAY for the “upgrade” this I refuse to do before I have talked to the management of the hotel. The next two days im asked to pay for the upgrade, and I repeatedly trying to get in contact with the management but it seems not possible. This hotel is for sure very dangerous, and I feel lucky that I was not sleep when this happened and was able to get out of my room on my own. The actions around this accident is terrible, and I will never recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. It is dangerous, and the hotel do nothing to protect guess from getting serious injured. The service after the accident was very bad, and that I’m asked to pay for moving to another room I just don’t get it. I have never in my lift tried an event like this, and I hope I never will again. But to make sure that no one get hurt I will not recommend people never to stay in Tango Beach resort. I feel lucky that I managed to get out of this, but it is not the actions from Tango but pure luck that this not ended very bad.

Nice resort style hotel right on the beach
We stayed here for 4 nights. We were annoyed initially as our room was not ready when we arrived at 4:30pm and was made to wait at the restaurant and then nobody came to let us know when out room was ready we had to walk back to reception to see what was going on. Asides from that, the place is ok. The buffet breakfast is good and it is right on the beach and only a ten minute walk to the main shops. The room was decent although a little dark. All balconies are shared so you can hear other people at night if you're trying to sleep. Other than that the place wasn't too bad and I wouldn't mind staying there again.

Tango Beach a Pleasant Suprise
Very happy with the hotel. Not a luxury hotel but for the price it provided everything I needed. Priorities were a/c, hot showers and clean sheets - all were met and the staff did their best to accommodate my request for a mosquito net. A lovely chilled place to unwind and would go back again

Nice, quiet hotel w/great beach 15min from action
Nice little hotel. Quiet. Mix of guests included many families, few if any young rowdy groups. Room was clean and adequate. Hotel staff spoke minimal English. Great beach area in front of hotel, but the beach restaurant is overpriced. For night life or reasonably priced good beach restaurants, you have to walk about 15 min down the beach. 7/11 right across the street.
