What a huge disappointment to learn that I was downgraded from a presidential suite to a standard room- room was booked some time back, and I didn't remember the room type upon check in, plus it was the end of a very long trip.. I was made aware of the downgrade when reviewing my nights collected with Hotel.com. Hotels.com called the property . They were bounced from person to person, and hung up on multiple times. Disgraceful!!!!. What kind of sham operation is this! Thankfully, Hotels.com is going to compensate me for the difference in cost.
A few other things to mention:
Get rid of the instant coffee. Stop being cheap and put in a Nespresso machine like other hotels.
The room was over sprayed with room freshener. The smell was so strong I had to leave the window open half the night. Reception agreed that the smell was strong and attempted to move me to another STANDARD ROOM, but it was facing the street. Perhaps, if I had been in the room I reserved, it would not have been an issue.
Stay away from this place!
