The staff was nice and friendly but overall the hotel is a bit old and run down. Good menu for room service and the bed is comfy but the toilet is a bit old and smells from the drains. The water flow of the shower was also not so great and hot water took a while to come.

Peninsula is an older hotel but is in good shape. Good cleaning staff, food is good too. It needs a little more in the cleaning department, a bit moldy here & there

Food was excellent, best staff very friendly. It is an older property with some upgrades but needs new carpet throughout. The shower walls are moldy. Staff cleaned the room thoroughly each day.

The overall hotel need to be renovated. It looks tired..... TV is too small, leaky faucet, accoustic between room need improvement as you can hear your neighbor taking shower/flushing.

I have stayed here before and always get good sleep. Facilities are great and the location makes getting to the airport easy, which is an important consideration in Jakarta

This is my first time to stay at this hotel. I initially checked in to a basic room. I found the room to be a bit older (the bath only had a shower over bath, and the tub had a high lip), after the 3rd day I upgrade to their Executive level room, that was MUCH nicer and appeared that the room had been recently updated (the bathroom still looked the same). Also, I noticed that the WiFi was much better. The Executive Level has a lounge area where you can sit and have coffee and snack with a decent view as it is located on the 23rd floor, it also has breakfast in the morning which was very convenient. I did use the gym on the 5th floor daily, it was a full gym, and even though the equipment was a little bit older it was nice. The pool and area around were nice, I did get into the pool once while I was there. Because my friends live in West Jakarta, I found the location convenient, I usually stay in a hotel with shopping and eating on the lower levels, this hotel has no such amenities, and you will have to travel if you want this. Also, the lounge area if it can be called that, is not very attractive. All the staff was friendly and helpful (and I do not speak Bahasa). I hope this helps,

Location was physically near to central park mall. However, as it needs to make a few big detour, depending on the timing, it could between 10mins to 1 hr. It also falls inside the odd and even zone so need to plan your transportation well.

Not a pleasant experience due to housekeeping
Initial check in experience was okay. I booked a non-smoking junior suite, and when I checked in on the first day, it was alright except it looked a little dated. However, when I came back to the room on the second day's evening (after housekeeping), I was appalled and annoyed that the room smelled of cigarette smoke. I called up housekeeping, and a man came to spray some stuff and did not even apologise but just smiled sheepishly. After the spray, room was a mixture of lemon and cigarette smell, which made it worse! I requested a change of room, but was told there wasn't one initially. Upon insistence, a new non-smoking room was provided. However, the water flow in the sink in the new room did not work well. I did not bother to request for a new change of room. Hot water was also not available on the morning I had to check out. Food choices were average, and some items were missing when I tried to order. Nachos were horrible. Thankfully, the staff on 5th level restaurant were polite, and the distance from my work to hotel made commuting bearable.Hotel definitely needs a refresh of the rooms, breakfast menu, and re-training of housekeeping staff (who smokes in a non-smoking room?!).

Good location. Awesome service. Clean room. Bathroom needs improvement. Ants problem. Put some bread and snacks on the table in the evening, they became some big ants party when I saw them in the morning. Bad breakfast except for the freshly made sunny side up eggs and sausages. Overall OK, but I won't go back.

Fairly centrally located and well run, this hotel is not brand new and is showing it's age I n some places. But the rooms are clean and the facilities are more than adequate. I used the business centre, the pool, the health spa and the restaurant, all good. The traffic outside the front door is a bit chaotic so going for a walk is not easy, but certainly possible. The taxis are nearby and cheap so most of Jakarta is accessible. Just try and avoid rush hour. And tell the taxi to take the toll roads, for which you will have to pay. The mosque nearby calls us all to prayer a few times a day, but it is plenty and bit too intrusive.

very outdated hotel
the hotel overall look is very outdated. I booked two suite rooms. the junior suite has a very good view of the city and big window. The other one is pool view. There was a leaking at the outside hall and there was no sign. the carpet was wet really really wet and looks like it has been leaking from quite sometime.
