I stayed in this hotel with my mother for a week. The staff was very friendly. The room was on the smaller side, it's sufficient enough for someone who will be spending their entire day out. There's a bus station right next to the hotel so transportation was not a problem for us. However, the maintenance of the room leaves much to be desired, the bathroom door is chipped and old, definitely needs to be changed. The bathroom itself omits a terrible smell at random times. Not much attention is given when cleaning the room as well, as we have noticed that the carpet does not get vacuumed, there's hair around the room and the bedding of the duvet is not properly cleaned. The deal breaker for us was the fact that there was no proper air conditioning, when we brought this up to the management they said that the air conditioning is centralized so it provides cooling or heating (not both at the same time), so we had to sweat almost every night. The only window in the room doesn't open all the way so we only had a brief breeze during the night every now and then. The breakfast is very average. Highly unlikely that we will come back.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. Ahmed and Rasul at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful. Nirvana was a very sweet lady who took great care of me. I was travelling solo and felt this hotel had next level service that made me feel very safe and comfortable when travelling alone.

The hotel is around a 5/10 minute walk from Sisli metro station. Upon checking in the staff spoke good English. Check-in was easy and the staff were polite. I had a small single room with a double bed. The room was great, bed was very comfy and clean and it had air on. The bathroom was fine too. The view from the window was of a fire escape. Upon check out I was asked to wait whilst they checked the room, this did make me late by 5 minutes, so take it into consideration when checking-out.

Nice hotel near jawaher mall.

The main door is on a side entrance, and the front door leads to the restaurant which closes after 8:30 pm giving the impression that the hotel is closed too. A good sign can do the job and good lighting

Amazing stay, professional service!
Divan Hotels have quite prestigious reputation in Turkey. Knowing that, I had high expectations from my stay and I can confidently say that our experience was beyond expectations! We had a great experience at Divan Istanbul City in every aspect. Hotel is in a great location within easy transportation links, cleanliness and house keeping was excellent, hotel restaurant and food is 5* quality and they have an amazing in-house patisserie. The reception staff (Dogukan, Mert and others) were so professional and they never hesitated to go for an extra mile for us whenever we needed. This was particularly important to us as our visit to Istanbul was for a surgery and we had a few last minute requests. They were always happy to help with a big smile and did their best to make us feel at home! As a frequent visitor of Istanbul, Divan is now my go-to! Strongly recommend!
