I stayed in 2 separate rooms, which were both tiny. Very centrally located hotel but it is in a very noisy and busy area. Hotel needs some good maintenance particularly the bathrooms (moldy, leaking showers, odor coming from the toilet, toilet paper holder broken, no place to hang towels, etc).

This hotel was the dirty hotel I have ever seen, what ever you see in site its totally opposite that, and the area was so bad and dirty that I had to change hotel asap that time. Everything was dirty and bad….

The hotel was very dirty, very different from the pictures, there was no television in the room, no cleaning, no good treatment by the staff The toilet was in such a bad condition that you would not even be told

Friendly staff and clean room, but part of shower door was missing. Water was getting everywhere when having a shower. No blanket or dovet was provided but got a sheet instead.

Ideal for short staying
This place is good located, is close to buses to the airport and also metro and funicular. It is in a small street, so was a little difficult to find it at the beginning. There was an strange smell In the room coming from the bathroom and the toilet was stained, so that's made looks dirty the place. They cleaned the room and took the towels but they didn't replace them. Also took my own towel by mistake

Location is good , walking distance to Metro station and Taxim Maydan where shoping and hanging out and restaurants. Staff is nice and helpful.

Do not book there!!
Had a 3 night booking through expedia for three rooms... We left after the first night! Place is dingy, dirty ... Towels and pillow covers have holes in them. Bathrooms are very dirty. Does not look at all like the pics online. Do not be fooled! And also smells of smoke. In addition, access to the hotel is terrible for people with luggage. There are always a few men hanging around in the very small lobby, which makes it look creepy!! When checking out after the first night (all three nights paid in full in advance), they didnt even bother asking us why we were leaving. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

My second visit to this hotel. The first visit was in Aug 2016 and the hotel was fine. In this visit the bathroom was smelly, washing bin tube was blocked and water was spilling down the bathroom floor. I asked the reception for a fix or room change and they fixed the fault only to return after a couple of hours. The room was noisy from other guests near by. Bathroom floor was dirty after room service. Bed sheets are stained. The path outside the hotel to the main street was full of dirt and garbage.

Lovely Hotel & very friendly staff
Although hotel is not in a main street but its very comfortable (as it's called) Staff are real stars from the Shuttle bus driver - who speaks very good english, very kind & knowledgeable), to the evening receptionist who is smiling, friendly and helping all the way to give you the best experience, to the morning lady in the breakfast cozy restaurant, to the young man who assisted me with my heavy luggages till the airport bus.... Actually they are all champions. My room was super clean, good size, hot shower all the time and excellent wifi all the time.

Nice and quiet hotel, 2 min away from Taksim
Staff are very helpful and friendly, rooms are clean and the hotel is very close to Taksim square (2 mints walking distance)

I visited with my sister for 2 weeks
I stayed at comfort hotel for two weeks with my sister and we had an amazing time there and definitely staying there again. It is a very nice and safe hotel and all the staff made us feel like home. Very friendly people. The location is very good about 5 minutes work from istiklal street. We both love walking so we walked to most places and only took a taxi twice during our stay. it is a short walk to the ferry if you want to visit the Asian side which is really worth visiting. I came home yesterday and I can't wait to visit Istanbul again and feel 2 weeks weren't enough.

stay at Comfort Hotel.
The hotel is new refurnished inside good interior look and condition .The Hotel staff was helpful but the approach tp this Hotel is rather bad for cars to enter and get out .The amenities need inprovement - for example when there is Coffee making Kettle why no glasses or cups?? The lift in the hotel is a great advantage and I stayed one floor above where there is a balcony and a smoking room .

Pleasant hotel near Taksim Square
The facilities provided were not as advertised. Coffee was not available in the lobby or our room, there were no hot breakfasts, and television was only made available after several requests. The electrical sockets were loose. There were some problems due to a poor understanding of English by the staff but that could equally be attributed to our poor knowledge of Turkish.

I stayed in this hotel with my wife last week. Our stay was relatively ok. Staff is friendly and helpful but English is always a problem. Breakfast was nice with plenty of things to choose from. Room was clean enough but the last day of our stay they didn't clean it at all. Location is ideal. you can get to Taksim Square in two minutes. close to Metro. Overall good value for money.

Great comfortable stay
We booked this hotel the day we arrived in Istanbul after our other hotel we had booked was not able to fit us all in. This is right next to taksim square where there is good nightlife and restaurants as well as excellent shopping. It cost us 2.50 lira to get to the old town in shuttles from here. The rooms were a good size with great air con and the service at the hotel was excellent. They told us where to go and we felt safe there as a group of females. There was also a good continental breakfast every morning. Very good price for the location!

Really enjoyed our stay as a family of 10, the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Although there were signs of wear and tear but we didnt mind as it was nothing major. Location is quite central with easy access to the local amenities and attractions. Overall we would stay there again and recommend this hotel

The worst hotel I have ever stayed.
Pictures and descriptions of this hotel online didn't match the reality. The room is very ugly, not really clean. Very strong smell from the toilet, noise from water tubes made sleeping awful. The same about a hall light beaming through a small window above the room's door when motion detector worked out. Problems with water and electricity. We tried to ask the hotel staff to move us to an other room, but as soon as we tried to talk to them their ability to speak and understand English disappeared. Overall impression on our stay in Istanbul was really screwed up because of the hotel. Never stay at this place!

Decent hotel for the price
Room decor is modern, but the rooms are small and not cleaned very well. The bathroom wasn't cleaned deeply and the garbage in the bathroom (the only one in the room) was only changed once. Also, the garage across the street can get pretty loud. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is close enough to walk through Taksim but the hotel itself is on a dark, desolate street. Scary if you are traveling alone.

Så besviken! Ingenting stämmde med beskrivning, hotellrummet är så smutsiga luktade rök hela rummet badrummet jag gick ner och klagade på detta men fick svar vi är fullbokade tyvärr.. sunket rum stopp i avloppet när man dusch. Bilderna stämmer inte alls med verkligheten. Observera jag rekommenderar inte detta hotellet till de som resa med familjer. Annars ligger hotellet bra till (nära taksim torget).
