Dear GuestNo complaints were made during the stay or when check out of the hotel. You may have lost it somewhere else.High level security measures are implemented in our hotel. Hotel staff can't open the safety box. To date, there has never been a theft in our hotel.

The Hotel Staff was friendly, especially the cleaning ladies were very friendly. Breakfast was also best, too many vegan and veg options along with non-veg.

Very nice hotel. Middle of everything. Tram stations ( Aksaray and Laleli) are less than 5 minutes walking distance. Hotel Manager and his staff are all very friendly. I strongly recommend the Amethyst.

the staff at the reception were so helpful , they made breakfast ready especially for us at 6am because we had an early flight and everything else was perfect from the food to the comfort to the location

Great hotel!!
We had a Deluxe Queen room which was huge. The air conditioning worked well. The bed was very comfortable & the bathroom fantastic. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. Location very close to the tram & not far to the train station. The breakfast had a lot of choice & was very tasty. We moved to this hotel after being let down by a nearby hotel but The Amethyst Hotel made us feel welcome & exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

i liked the ambience, breakfast was great, maid service was good, response to my request was good. Receptionist was rude, ordered me to sit down while pointing to a chair when i was registering the first day, i was told she travel takes euros only for tours, when they take lira, euros, dollars and credit card. i wanted to use credit card i was denied. had to pay 400 liras to buy euros. had problems with a/c, was not cooling the room, had problem connecting to internet, while making outside call to she travel, call was not going thru, after several attempts i called and the tech told me that i do not need to dial 212 suffix. i was charged for all those calls. receptionist should have told me that when he gave me the brochure. i did not have cash for tours, i was told to go to ATM and take money out, i asked where ATM was, receptionist was impatient and told me outside, go out and there are several ATMs. Went to several ATMs and banks as far as spice bazaar, did not get help from anybody. receptionist demanded in an impatient tone why i did not go to ATM like other people and take money out. i told him about my experience. He asked how can that be. he did not believe me. He had raised his voice, I was told that i had called too many times for one thing or the other from my room. could not use the hand held shower the first day, help had to pull the button real hard to make the handheld shower to work. locker was tempered with, my code did not work. my things were unsafe.

They scammed me. I dont recommend anyone staying at this hotel or using any of their facilities. The room was very small. Uncomfortable bed and dirty as well. Internet service is slow. Very rude people

Booked for 2 nights but checked out next morning Close to transport that’s the only good thing. Dining area was nice. Breakfast standard nothing fancy. Single room was horrible small and no window view. Just a wall with a mural. Claustrophobic. Changed rooms, still small, horrible window view, back of some old rundown buildings. Couldn’t sleep bed was horrible. Check out next Morning booked another hotel. Asked for refund was refused, ( booking stated no refund). Asked to call taxi, was told to walk behind the hotel. Desk didn’t even bother to ask if I enjoyed my stay. Horrible service. No nice restaurant nearby, no tourist info offered. This hotel is good location for traders who go to Turkey to buy things not tourist. Won’t stay here again

Don't be fooled! They advertise themselves as a luxury, but they are nothing of the sort. They advertise the hotel with images of large modern rooms but what you get is nothing like this. They position themselves as luxury but the hotel is incredibly run down and the staff treat guests terribly. They tried to give me a much worse room than what I booked. The disappointment continued when I was given a tiny room with faulty air conditioning that stank of cigarettes - even the swimming pool smelt of cigarettes! I was told the whole hotel was set to one temperature (around 28 degrees) and that this couldn't changed in individual rooms. The rooms were also dirty, the curtains don't cover the whole window, the curtains aren't blackout and the furniture across the hotel is dirty and scuffed. To make matters worse, when I complained about the air conditioning to the hotel manager, I was berated and made to feel like I was being unreasonable. I was also shocked to see the woman running the pool Facetiming her children on her phone.
