Nice hotel in lovely Cha Am.
Lovely friendly hotel right on the beach front. Room was very comfortable although a little worn ! Breakfast was average to good. Would start again.

One of the best hotels in the area
Nicely refurbished hotel with good size rooms and great balcony. Good choice at breakfast. Reception staff could be more friendly, but it certainly didnt spoil my 2 night stay here.

Friendlier hotels near by
Large bed in a comfortable room. Reception staff could be a little friendly as I did have some minor issues and each time, I felt they were unapproachable and they were not really friendly or intetested. Shame as is a nice hotel. Stayed in Char-am 1 week, only stayed here first 2 night's. Says it all really....

Good for holiday close to the beach
This is a good hotel our room a delux room overlooking a pool a/c was good tea and coffee in room bath tub and shower all good staff are attentive and all very good is only 50 mts from beach, breakfast was good eggs cooked fresh....I have not a bad word to say about this place was all good thank you to Tara manta cha am

Encounter termites in the room as the property is already ten years old and maintenance is not satisfying. Staff treat it well by upgrading the room but turn out to be old and not so comfortable stay

A Comfortable, Well-Run Hotel Option
We enjoyed our stay. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. The room was a good size, clean and with nice amenities. WiFi was decent. The breakfast is well above the average you find at most hotel buffets. They have 3 swimming pools, 2 of them smaller pools on the 2nd & 3rd levels. The main pool and children's pool is on the ground level. It is much larger and nicer than any of the hotel's photos show. We were pleased. The hotel is across from the quieter north Cha-am beach area and is an easy walk to a good number of restaurants. We will be happy to book again at Tara Mantra.

Decent hotel in a nice location
The Tara Mantra is a nice hotel situated in a great area. 7-11 located nearby as well as great beach location with quieter setting for Cha Am. The property is dated a bit and the staff is not as warm as you would typically expect from a Thai hotel, still the hotel is good enough that I would be open to staying there again.

Good for a night or two if you like Cha-am
Good hotel, fully priced and then some. Two very nice swimming pools suitable for lap swimming. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Nice hotel next to Beach. Hotel is clean and modern and rooms are well presented. There is a good spa and restaurant in hotel. 3 swimming pools that are never crowded an added bonus. Breakfast is quite good. Staff are very helpful and friendly, There are plenty of restaurants along the beach to try. Cha Am is a very quite place if you want to just relax this is the place for you.

Not the fanciest building but great hotel
The building could use some renovating, but the hotel is great with fantastic service. There is 3 outside pools on floor 1 to 3. Not the biggest pools but good enough for swimming. The 1st floor pool area also leads to the beach; just hop over the road and you are at the beach. This is awesome as if need to use toilet while on beach, you can easily walk back to hotel and use toilet at the 2nd floor pool. The breakfast is mainly Thai-style but has some western choices too, like sausage, bacon and potatoes (varies bit). many choices for bread. Overall the breakfast was good. Only bad thing was the coffee which tasted horrible. The area is rather western but there is couple restaurants nearby that serves Thaifood . I would skip the restaurants outside the hotel, unless you want westernized food. Road next to beach has Thai-dishes available. On negative sides only have 2 minor issues: - The hotel has bicycles available but only for 2h; after that you pay 20 baht/per. You can also only use them before 1800 but the english text is not updated but says 1900 which caused bit confusion. On quiet times they really should be more relaxed with the bikes. Feels silly to rent from other place. - I took Sprite from minibar (as they were nicely priced). It tasted strange so checked date: 30.6.2016. Went to complain and got new one and was promised I don't have to pay. On check-out they didn't have any notes on that but eventually got it for free. So check dates carefully.

Check in was great - friendly, efficient. Unfortunately checkout was the opposite. Staff with very poor attitude practically accused us of stealing a laundry bag. Yes - a laundry bag. We were stood there for 25 minutes. I offered to pay for it. But that wasn't apparently going to fly. I was afraid we would miss our flight. Eventually we were dismissed by the gestapo member who seemed to be running the front desk, and we were left to carry our bags to our hire car. Just goes to show that the guest experience is nearly entirely dependent upon the attitude and training of the staff.

hotel was in a good location, I found that breakfast was amazing. Beside all the good things was the room that it could been better as I was requested for king size bed but was given to twin beds room(imagine you travelling as a couple) then the lady who escalated us to the room call to the housekeeping staff then they went up and made the bed from twin to king infront of us which was so akward. Television in the room was so old fashioned and tv remote wasnt working. Hope this comment would help you improve for a better service.

Great place shame about the pests
At Cha-Am beach they have a problem with pigeons & dogs they have nets on all the balcony's which is not asthetacly pleasing And I was woken every night in the early hours with barking & howling dogs.

Poorly maintained room!
It was a rather disappointing end to my hotel stay. I had booked the Morning Suite for my birthday celebration with my partner. The reason why I chose the Morning Suite was because it had an outdoor jacuzzi, overlooking the pool and with a view of the sea. It was beautiful...initially...until we started using the jacuzzi. There was a serious problem with the drainage plug. After using it once, we then tried to unscrew the drainage plug to drain the water so that we could fill it up again to use it later in the night. However, the drainage plug was faulty and couldn't turn..and I'm pretty built. So I had to call housekeeping to handle it and they brought a pair of pliers to unscrew the plug. However, the entire plug broke and the water couldn't be drained at all! So there I was stuck now with an outdoor jacuzzi that couldn't be used. Their saving grace was that they offered another suite, but the jacuzzi was indoor and facing the patio! The view was nothing to even speak of. I was really disappointed. The hotel should have checked before allowing anyone to rent it, to make sure that its fixtures were well maintained. But this was not the case. If you're charging that hefty a price, you better be on your toes and maintain the condition of the room!

Hotel service is great. We arrived around 10 AM, and were promptly checked in to our room without any question or additional charge. No additional charge for our three year old daughter also for breakfast. Very helpful staff. The furniture inside the room are a bit worn out but the room is clean. Area is close to the beach. The hotel provides beach chairs but are not enough for all the visitors. Area is not very quiet, and if you want to have a quiet beach, Cha-Am is not for you. We are satisfied with the hotel but not with the beach. We will choose another beach which is quiet next time. However, this is the nearest beach to Bangkok, and if you plan to go to Cha-am, then I do recommend this hotel. We book through Hotels.com as it gives us best discount for our room.

Good Choice
An unexpected pleasure, especially during the busy Xmas-New Year period. Cha-am is less fashionable for foreign visitors but I am glad I chose this hotel vs. the more expensive ones in Hua Hin. My family and I even enjoyed dinner at the poolside restaurant - delicious Thai food at very reasonable prices. Worth every baht and I will return.

Mini Suite is good
Overall stay at your hotel is OK except 2 things that I think it should be improved. First is chargeable breakfast for children 4 and 8 years old, as both of them consumed only 1 bread and 1 glass of milk so it should be complimentary. Second is the Wireless Internet, I do prefer to get unlimited instead of 4 hours that's quite ridiculous and also if the signal of AIS 3G or else is better than this we will not require your wireless internet. Additional suggestion, for the Mini Suite that we stay is good but it would be better if you amend this room to be like pool access. Lastly Spa at Badara is good quality and location.

ノースビーチの静かなホテル。東西に長い南向きで、宿泊したミニスイートは快適でした。プールは3F(25m位)、2F(25m位)、1F(楕円形)と並んでいて、それぞれ1.5mの深さがあり、小さな子供には向いていない。 近隣にはレストランが豊富にあり、ホテル併設のビーチサイドレストランがおすすめです。値段は近隣のレストランより1割高くらい。 同等のホテルと向かい合わせに建っていて、建物を挟んで食事、マッサージの店が並んでいます。ランドリーも1軒(80B/1kg)あります。 ノースビーチはgrabを呼んでも中々来ないので、ここをベースにアクティブに動くには向いてないです。 ホテルでのんびり過ごす大人に最適なホテルですね。 朝食は種類多く、オムレツ、タイヌードル(美味しくない)リクエストできます。 また来年泊まりに行きます！
