Not worth our money.
We booked this hotel due to the good reviews. Unfortunately our stay was not the best. We were put in a room which was on the dog friendly floor which we do not have a problem with. Our room smelled quite bad of wet dogs which was not very pleasant. Also the waste bin in the bathroom had not been emptied after the previous guests. We did mention this to reception when checking out and was told if we had mentioned it earlier we would have been moved to a non dog friendly room. Surely guests without dogs should fill up the rooms which don't accommodate dogs first and then if all them are full then use the dog friendly room.
The full english breakfast was also not the best. All in all the whole experience wasn't as good as i thought it was going to be sorry.

Service in the dining room was appalling. 90 minutes between ordering and food being served. It was the same for everyone in the dining room. Obviously there was a problem but no-one bothered to tell the diners what it was or that they might have to wait for their food, or when it was likely to be ready. Dreadful. I think everyone in the dining room felt they were being treated with contempt since they were a captive audience with nowhere else to go.

The only thing that was not that good was the internet connection in my room, had troubles connecting, and when connected, wifi signal was not that good. Otherwise excellent. Good value for money.

My room was not ready at 3pm though I was given the key card. The cleaning staff were embarrassed. I had room 1 which was an accessible room - not needed. The bathroom was a wet room with seat in shower area. No where to put toiletries in the bathroom as equipped for a disabled person. The room was very dark. Even with lights on it was very dark. Everything was just ok. I probably wouldn’t stay again but nothing to complain about. No more than 3 * and struggling a little for that.

We have just had a 3 night stay, a very relaxed & comfortable experience. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly & polite. Breakfast had plenty of choice and the evening food menu was varied & value for money. Would highly recommend & looking forward to a return visit.

We have stayed here before last year, it was so handy for what we wanted to do, that we came back again. Very clean & the food in the bar is fantastic.

Everything as we needed. Only suggestion would be somewhere in batroo to put stuff and hook for coats etc Nice friendly helpful staff and reasonably priced food

Very cute place. The service and staff are fantastic. The rooms are small but that’s all British rooms. The food was always good.

Stayed for 1 nights for business, really enjoyable. Great staff who are friendly and helpful noting was too much. Bar and rooms are lovely also. Highly recommended.
