Pros: Very convenience location. And friendly staff too. Cons: lift space. Can be a little congested at time. Did request for a higher floor but missed out this time. So the view wasn’t great at all and had to keep the curtain closed at all time.

Good property and fairly clean. Staff is extremely professional and on par with US hotels. Amazing roof deck. My only criticism is that the carpets could be cleaner but was not that bad.

When it comes to selecting a hotel, I want clean, good location, and good value, in that order. Unfortunately, this hotel did not feel clean. Old is perfectly fine, carpet feels dirty, stains on the sink perimeter, hair in a few places. Overall feels poorly maintained. The direct call buttons on the phone supposed to be front desk and housekeeping didn't work. A recessed light didn't work, etc. Location turns out to be just average, a bit of a walk to the pier to the south and to the street markets to the north. Sorry, I can't recommend this place.

Excellent Stay- Strategically Located
Stayed for 5D4N. A very convenient location to stay. About 5 mins walk from Jordan MTR Station (Tsuen Wan Line- Red Line). Appx 15 mins walk to Avenue of Stars. Appx 30 mins walk to Kowloon Ferry Terminal (to Macao). (Turbo Jet- China Ferry Terminal). Room is spacious. Comfortably accommodate 2 pax. Fernando is a very very friendly & accommodating Front Desk Personnel. Always smiling & ever-ready to greet/ receive any guest/ enquiries. Good job Madera Hotel & Fernando..... Keep it up.

The hotel room was so spacious, clean, and the staff was so kind and nice. The hotel was within walking distance to the train so it was so convenient and on a major street where there was lots of eat and see. Definitely recommend it, worth every penny!

The premier location, spacious rooms, and modern condition are the highlights of this hotel. However, I had higher expectations for the level of hospitality from the hotel staff. I only interacted with a few receptionists, some of whom seemed shy. I hope they can be more welcoming to guests. One disappointment during my stay was the cleanliness of the room. It seems that not only a good room cleaner is needed, but also a competent housekeeper to ensure improvement in this area.

Location is excellent, its closed to a lot of eateries, friendly staff, convenient as its a 5 minutes walk from the subway station. The room was just too cold with no adjustment can be done to the temperature control.

Overall HK is expensive and hotels are no exception. At first this hotel seemed good for the money but did not meet my expectations. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself seemed outdated and needed updates. Location is ok since it is near Jordan station.

First time in this hotel and am impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Just within 2 mins walk from Jordan mtr and there are nearby eateries which stayed open even during the typhoon period! Receptionists are prompt during check in. However 1 feedback is for the hotel to review the bath towels that they supplied to the room. Some bath towels are torn and tattered..and makes me wonder on the cleanliness of the towels. Hope that they will improve on this. Nevertheless overall it's still a good place to stay and I would recommend my friends to stay there.

1st time staying in this hotel and wouldnt be the last! Transport is very convenient with airport bus A21 stopping just a stone throw away. It is also very walking distance to Jordan MTR and many buses to go Star Ferry, TST, etc Room is very big and clean and amenities all provided. Service staff were all very friendly. Was caught in black rain last weekend but no fear as there's many eateries, supermarkets, 24hr convivence stalls that remains open. Being just opposite JiaJia Dessert which has Michellin award for the past 7years is a icing on the top!

Staff approachable and helpful. Maybe it’s because of the typhoon during my stay, the property was kind of messy, especially at the entrance. Also, there was no signage for café, fitness centre, the sky bar, etc. Should have the signage at least in the lift.

Perfect place to stay at if you are looking to explore Tsim Sha Tsui, easy walk to Temple Night Market and the Avenue of Stars. Jordan MTR is less than 2 minutes from the hotel.

1st stay at Madera Hotel
Bad: Hotel was located in a side street and cars were parked along it. If it rains, you will need an umbrella while struggling with your luggage out from the cab. Please note that the free Airport Express shuttle bus service has been terminated. What a shame! Surrounding environment not really to our liking. Found a small cockroach in the toilet. Sigh... Very expensive for such a small space though it was a premium suite with 2 bedrooms. Living room space was pathetically small. Only a 3 seaters sofa and a small side table were provided. Did not have dining table and chairs for having our packed food. No cutleries provided. Got to request for them. No kitchen sink provided. Use the only sink in the toilet. One toilet only. And the shower head sucks! Got to twist the tube left and right each time before the shower head can aim at you. Got to stand in the narrow bathtub for showering. You either hit the wall or the shower screen. Curtains were not working well. Noisy aircon. Food smell from other rooms through the aircon. Good: Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Good quality toilet rolls and tissue papers provided. Welcome gift was a bottle of red wine, 2 pcs of smoked beef, 2 pcs of donuts, 2 pcs of cheese and 2 pcs of crackers. Everything else is so so.
