Nice property at the edge of the water. Not sure I got the booked room as it said lake view but only had a look at a tiny bit of the harbour. For the rest enjoyed my stay and the room was comfortable.

It was right on the water, which was neat. Our waiter at the Italian restaurant was awesome! We had an after dinner drink at the lounge and that was great, too!

Wonderful accommodations on the water…the area is clean and explorable , the down side was that the Italian restaurant was mediocre at best

Amazing view over the harbour
Whole experience was amazing, scenery is spectacular, service is splendid, maintenance is brand new, and clean as a bell. Room was cosy and warm, the bed soft as whipped cream, shower really big and wonderfull. Wifi is very quick, overall it was a great stay

great location, but a bit run-down
The hotel has one of the nicest views possible, looking out over the harbour, and our room was spacious and comfortable. It was also lacking some maintenance, with wallpaper coming off the wall. Service in the restaurant was poor and impersonal, and the food was not great (undercooked fish, and a egg-cup size basket of fries even when ordering separately). In the shower, we found hair sticking to the wall, left behind by a previous occupant - and that while the hotel was supposedly implementing extra cleaning due to Covid. For a hotel that is more expensive than most in the region, this is all severely lacking, despite the view.

Located in a pretty area on the water front however the room was basic (no tea/coffee/water facilities). Staff unfriendly especially in the restaurant. Wouldn’t recommend eating in the hotel, food only ok and we were ignored most of the evening after being sat at a dirty unmade table. There are 3 other restaurants very close by though (independent to the hotel) which served tasty food reasonably priced. Budget hotel, pretty exterior but basic facilities with standoffish staff.

We had a great stay.
We had a great stay the location is excellent. The room was comfortable even with the extra bed for my daughter. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The reception staff was very informative and helpful. The only negative point was the bathroom where there was not enough light, the sink was cracked, and there was nothing in the shower to put our own products on other than on the edge of the shower tub.

We went to the Netherlands for a fishing trip. Naarden is a great town near by to fish. Beautiful hotel, very nice people, great room.

Huizen is a tiny gem near Amsterdam. If you are driving yourself, this is a great place to stay in order to Park and Ride into Amsterdam. The breakfast was excellent, and our room was very comfortable. The area around the hotel is also very nice and very cute.

Fletcher should review staff performance.
Staff at front desk unfriendly, not even off morning when you walk pas the front desk. No help with luggage upon arrival or departure. Extreme noise in room due to event in the wine bar right under our room. This can happen, but please inform guests. Window broke and despite being reported, no action taken. Very noisy with guests making noise during night. Disappointing mainly due to staff.

Quiet little gem in a lovely area
In a lovely purpose-built complex, this hotel is quiet, clean, modern and friendly. The complex offers ample free parking and a number of excellent bars and restaurants, plus views over the canal and harbour. It's only a short walk into Huizen, which is a pretty little town. Our room was clean and well-appointed and the Reception team were friendly and welcoming. All in all, a great find and a relaxing stay.

Good Location - Decent Hotel
Comfortable business stay. Excellent location (especially if whether is good). Downsides are unimaginative breakfast food choices and local youngsters enjoying the sunny evening on the grass immediately outside the hotel room (nothing excessive or wrong, just playing music, football and having a few drinks, but very close to hotel rooms as is presumably a public area). A few good restaurants very nearby. Other than one lady at breakfast, had trouble getting as smile - or even eye contact or a hello - from hotel staff !!

Great Stay!
The stay was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, and we quick to accommodate us and our friends in rooms close to one another. The location is wonderful. It’s next to a pier and the rooms look amazing, beds are comfortable. It feels very homey in my opinion. I’d definitely go back again whenever we visit The Netherlands again.

Perfect for my holiday
The room was perfect for my needs and with very good and clean shower-room/WC.The rooms are modern, clean and air-conditioned in architecture more reminiscent of New England than Dutch style. I didn't try the restaurant; there are other eateries in the complex and in Huizen (Oude Dorp). There are bikes to hire which is the best way to get around depending on how far you want to stray from Huizen - but I took my own and visited many of the local towns. If you're wanting to go further afield by train you'll need to drive/bus into a nearby town like Naarden/Bussum from where there are good links to Amsterdam and other towns/cities such as Utrecht and Amersfoort (both have amazing towers). Parking in centres just isn't worth bothering with. Everyone is very friendly and almost all speak excellent English.
