"Es war wieder ein sehr schöner Winterurlaub in der Hohen Tatra. Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage (mitten im Ort, dicht am Skigebiet und am gut sortierten Supermarkt). Die Appartements sind groß, gut ausgesrattet und teilweise mit Balkon; wenn auch so langsam der Zahn der Zeit an vielen Ecken der Einrichtung nagt. "We really enjoyed our stay in Aplend Kamzak apartments. Check in was smooth and fast, and we received a comfortable apartment with separate bedroom as booked. It had a small kitchenette, so we also could prepare some or our own meals. Cleaning is only once during your stay, but you can book extra cleaning for a fee. "We stayed at the hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience overall. The hotel looks amazing both inside and out, and we absolutely loved the design and atmosphere. The reception staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was quick and easy, and our bags were taken to our room before we had even completed the check-in process, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety of choices available each morning. However, we were a little disappointed with one young male staff member at breakfast. He seemed quite miserable and not very professional. When we asked about the toaster, he mumbled a response, which made us feel a little uncomfortable. We were also disappointed that, although we mentioned we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had travelled from the UK for the occasion, there was no acknowledgement from the hotel staff. Even a simple “Happy Anniversary” would have been appreciated. At other hotels, we have often received a card or a small complimentary drink, so this felt like a missed opportunity to make our stay feel more special. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The late spa opening hours were extremely convenient, as we spent our days exploring Zakopane and were still able to relax in the jacuzzi in the evenings. Overall, this is an amazing hotel with a relaxing atmosphere, and we would certainly recommend it."

"Our loft room had two huge pillars which really got in the way, if you get this type of room ask to change. Amenities were very good, nice pool, hot tub, saunas, gym etc. breakfast was very good, had dinner at the restaurant which has lots of awards but our dishes were hit and miss. Fish was terribly overcooked and for top dollar I expected much better. Staff were ok but not overly helpful. Linens are ok but not great. Location is very central and convenient."
