No housekeeping had to go get our own towels empty our garbage toilet paper shampoo there for three nights no one did anything except give the key at the front desk for the room. Front desk staff were notified after first night no change no service. I wish I hadn’t prepaid as it should have been discounted from the hotel or Expedia.

I'm not picky but this place was gross. Black mold all over the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom itself - they didn't put a fresh roll of toilet paper out and left a half roll from the person before. Then I noticed the sink was cracked all the way through the middle. And then I finally saw the black mold covering the ceiling of the bathroom. And I woke up with a horrible headache and got sick. Lock your car here.

This place was incredibly run down and dirty. The room had an incredibly strong smell of mold and the furniture was crumbling. There were clumps of hair and little bugs all over one of the beds. We didn’t even stay…we couldn’t. When I went to check out, (an hour later)there was no manager so I couldn’t complain or get any help. The whole experience was an absolute disgrace.

Staff was rude, had to clean the tubs cause there was hair in them. No fresh towels gave us a issue for a extra roll of toilet paper. Didnt come in to the rooms to clean them. Had to dump our own garbage.

The pillow cases were dirty, the floors were sticky, there was a doll hand in the made bed so it obviously was overlooked or sheets were not washed before us. Our key did not work for door after we checked in, the conclusion was that the battery in the door was dead, and no solution for a new key or room change so we just had to deal with it. The overnight woman who helped us was very rude, from acting like the not working key was an inconvenience to her to her underhand comments about my friend and I’s appearance.

Check in service (afternoon /evening lady) desk lady was amazing! Super friendly, very helpful, told us her local restaurant recommendations, things to do, etc. Overall cleanliness-on a scale of 1-10 probably a 6. The bldg is old and definitely some “old dirt” that just isn’t gotten to. There was garbage behind our nightstand that housekeepers missed (chip bags). Under the mattresses the dust ruffle sheet could definitely used washed. The steps going up to 2nd floor were carpeted and very dirty (high traffic area) but could use new carpet or deep cleaned. The check out (morning lady) service desk lady was not friendly, seemed bothered to do her job. Did not refill breakfast area (at 7 am there was only 3 muffins left) breakfast started at 6 am. She was chatting with two ladies that were not even staying there and was very annoyed that she had to check us out and give us a receipt. We found her rather rude. It was a decent, budget friendly place that could use a little bit more cleaning.

Disgusting- RUN!!
Absolutely disgusting! I urge everyone to stay away from this hotel. It was completely filthy. Hair and dirt in every corner of the rooms. Stains on the walls. Stained sheets and blankets. Bathtub was dirty. I get creeped out just thinking about that hotel room.

The property at first glance looks like it’s in a terrible area. It’s not right around the corner is a ton of shopping and dinning options. There is a huge Bass Pro Shops about a mile away. The rooms are clean the hotel is on the older side and needs some things updated. The staff was amazing. The women who checked us out was my favorite person ever. We got soaked at the concert the night before and my husband thought he was good with his one pair of jeans…well the lady downstairs let us dry them in the dryer so he didn’t have to drive 3 hours in wet clothes. Overall for a night stay and a concert in Hershey I think it was perfect.

Check in was listed at 2 pm. We arrived at 2:25 and had to wait 30 minutes for the room to be ready. The toilet/shower room had a filthy door. The refrigerator was extremely noisy and it had to be unplugged so I could sleep. At 6 am on Sunday morning someone in a neighboring room woke me up with their loud phone conversation. The walls were paper thin! I would not stay at an Econolodge again. Very disappointing stay.

Great Value and Service
The front desk person was awesome, JT made us feel at home the whole stay. The hotel is what it advertises, a budget conscious choice for travelers. We found it comfortable, clean, and convenient. Would stay here again.

This property was so unsanitary and disgusting. As soon as we enter the room it smelled gross like it wasn’t cleaned. When we used the showers black substance came out. It was overall an awful experience just for a one night stay.

It was ok.
The Good: It was an affordable place to stay so I didn’t have to drive home late after a concert and conveniently located. The check in was good and our room was ready. The not so good: The bathtub was peeling in places and the water wouldn’t stop running. The AC filter needed changed so it kept cycling off. They have more rooms than parking spots and there was no one at the desk to ask where else we could park. Granted that was at midnight, but still. I would stay again, but at least I know what I’m getting myself into.

The hotel is clean and the breakfast was fine. The price is very affordable. It is close to Hersheypark. But, the air conditioning unit in Room 107 was noisy as well as having a room next to the front desk. But otherwise fine for a quick stay, just basic.

The staff were pleasant. The hotel was in a convenient area. It was a non smoking hotel, however, it was quite obvious that smoking had occurred in the bathroom of our room. The smell was unbearable for us as non smokers and allergic to smoke. They changed the shower curtain for me, as I was hoping that would help, but the smoke has permeated the paint.

The overall stay was fine. The accommodation was adequate. It was just an overnight stay. Bathrooms need major renovation. Black molds on ceiling. Cracks in the tubs. Towels old, worn and gray. They keep the rooms as clean as possible. Just updating.

It was absolutely filthy and we felt very unsafe there. Our feet stuck to the floors and didn't even want to use the shower because everything was so funky.

We were in from Ohio for a wedding, had to have a place for o e night until We joined our families. We walked in and had the kindest lady I think I have ever interacted with at a hotel, I wish I had gotten her name but we chatted and laughed so hard ! The room Was exceptionally clean, the beds were pretty comfy, I liked that the floors were vinyl not carpeting! The only thing was it took a little bit for the hot water to pump up through but o cow it got here it was fine! It also was only 80 bucks with tax! It’s a win win for a good place to Stay, and kudos to the friendliest staff around! She needs a raise
