We stayed this hotel to be in totality for the eclipse because it was the only hotel that wasn’t price gouging, but rather kept their prices fair. It’s Econo Lodge, so obviously it’s not luxurious, but it’s very clean and comfortable. It’s safe and conveniently located, and the family that runs it is super friendly!

This is a 1960’s motel whose beds have not be pulled out from the wall and cleaned since 1960. Dust is bad. Corners in bathroom had crud. No breakfast due to COVID that ended over a year ago. Bedspread appeared new. Sheets and linens appeared clean. Paid $80/night for a subpar room.

The room and property were clean and as you would expect for the price. The water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. Beds were a bit too firm but that's manageable. My only complaint is they did not have the complimentary breakfast as advertised. The sign stated it was due to covid in which most have resumed breakfast over a year ago.

It was really hot when we got there because The AC wasn’t on. The remote needed new batteries and when we went to ask for some they said to bring the remote to them we did and then they said that because there was a signal that they were fine so then my husband went and ask for some again and they finally gave them new ones.
Our room was clean & the staff was friendly. They are under renovation and the fitness room was blocked. The breakfast area is being used for storage. I was disappointed that NO BREAKFAST options were available as we were traveling with our son.
With that said, if a quiet & clean place to sleep is what you are looking for then this is a good option.

Very clean Older property at a good price. Only motel in Greenbrier. We’ve stayed there several times visiting family. Owner and wife very friendly and helpful. It’s an older property, but is quiet, always very clean, comfortable bed and the price is very good. We’ll continue to stay there when we come up to visit.

Terrible place!! They advertise hot breakfast and a nice pool. They have NO breakfast available and the pool has been drained for over a year (per staff member). Plus, the A/C was not working in my room and there were tiny bugs with wings crawling all over my bed!!!

Its not terrible, but its ran by indians who want to wheel and deal with you trying to claim better prices. No pool because they dont want to clean it. Didnt have the room i had secured on hotels.com. also lots of crackheads
The air was not on in our room & it took overnight for it to get cool. There were no amenities that I seen during my stay. The room was clean but with no air there was a terrible smell in the room.

First, we request an interior room. Said they were painting( don’t think that was true). So why advertise those interior rooms if not available. TV was terrible. Security lock was gone. Dog next to us barking. Lights out over bathroom vanity. Installation laying on top of bathroom door. Must be new owners, place needs some work.

The bathtub did not have a plug/stopper. The "continental breakfast", altho advertised on the website, did not exist. We learned that it has not been functional for months due to covid. Certainly there's been adequate time to update the website and alert customers when they are signing up for a room!

The bed was decent. Thankful there was a hotel option in Greenbrier. The room is in need of a good deep cleaning. The surfaces and sheets were clean, but there was a lot of visible dust in the corners of bathroom and top of bathroom door. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Future guests should be aware that there is no elevator. Because of COVID, there was no mingling in the lobby and no breakfast.
I am grateful to the staff for finding something that I left in the room, taking it to the front desk, and allowing a nearby relative to pick it up for me.

I've shared photos and videos on social media about the suite. Now I can't speak for the other rooms but the suite was amazing. The lobby is nice too, but you can't get to it from outside because the door is locked which is weird. The pool is closed and they look at you funny when you ask about it.
The room was amazing and super super quiet. I could've thrown a rock and hit the highway yet we never heard a thing. We really enjoyed the peace.

Very comfortable stay. The room and facility felt clean and well kempt. The only bummer was that they did not offer an alternative to breakfast since the lobby was closed.

There was a domestic incident with some guests and when I called the manager he said, “it was probably someone closing their trunk.” The room was very cold and the heat took a long time to heat the room because it was weak even on full power. There was no continental breakfast as advertised. I know it can’t be the same because of Covid but there were no prepackaged options.

Good clean rooms. Lobby was closed down so no breakfast and not a reduction in price. Will probably use different hotels after this. Conway was close and they had breakfast.

Room was clean and in good condition. The breakfast is not being served due to Covid-19 considerations. The mattress was too firm for my comfort, but the pillows were good. Overall a good value for the money.

The stay was ok. The beds aren’t to my comfort level. They were a little hard. The sheer curtains we ripped up. The shower had left over soap from previous people. So the shower wasn’t as clean as it should have been.
