"Great hotel in Arlington, VA"
Visited Washington for the Cherry Blossoms and some training. The hotel is really close to the Pentagon City Metro Station, which allows for great flexibility transportation-wise, as the parking fee is on the expensive side. Once you get there, you'll find a nice building, recently remodeled, and good access for the handicapped. Lobby is nice, cozy and warm (especially if you just got off the rain, which I did), and friendly staff that will help you ASAP. Check-in process is quick, and you'll be in your room in no time. Rooms are more than adequate for a couple's needs (and maybe one kid), but if you have children, please consider expanding the number of rooms. Although I have two pets, I decided not to take them, as the cleaning fee seems high. Bathroom and kitchen are really nice, functional and well organized, and the kitchen kit is nothing short of awesome, as you'll have most anything you may need to cook your own food. Breakfast is included, and there's an Evening Social food & drinks event that allows you to get a complimentary dinner at the hotel Mon-Wed. Gym and pool are very clean, well designed, serviced and usable, as are the coin-operated laundry facilities. There is a mall nearby, and a shuttle to the airport every 20 min. I greatly recommend this hotel over some more expensive choices in the area, as it has the best bang-for-the-buck. I'll be there for my next visit.
