When we first arrived we showed up at 2 the guy said check in is at 3 and his boss wouldn’t be happy if he checked us in, we travel A LOT and most places by 2 will have some rooms ready to go, the cleaning staff were having a hard time keeping up with the turnover and actually talked about quitting from down the hall with the front desk person and she said take me with you! So not a great impression so far. Guy suggested we can go for a swim till room was ready which we did. After the swim my hubby went to ask for towels cause there was none and he said the girl was rude about it. First room we were put in was dirty and used towels left from last guests. Guests above us were horribly noisy and when we let front staff know they could care less or didn’t believe it till we took them to our room & let them here the amt of noise. They apparently talked to the ppl upstairs but the noise didn’t change. Once we came back from dinner they moved us to a different room that was much quieter and a lil cleaner. ( found garbage behind the couch when we opened it up for the bed) We again went for a swim and no towels, not once during our stay did they have pool towels. I asked if I could speak with the manager and on the day we were leaving turns out the girl was the manager and she had a very poor attitude and leadership skills which is obviously reflected and passed onto her staff. I let her know I’d follow up with the chain, she was unapologetic for the cleanliness of our rm.
