Fantastic location friendly smiling service nothing is too much hassle for the staff. Hotel itself is amazing and the dining options and bars are awesome. This is a large hotel so you may have long walks to pool/lobby if you are in the rear wings but for us this was not a problem just to let people know,

We were celebrating our granddaughters birthday .. unfortunately there was nowhere we could go as a group to do this other than outside .. which would be fine if it was not storming. We made the most of squeezing under the umbrellas by the pool to have her cake and sing Happy Birthday. My room was lovely & spacious but smelled musty and damp.

Nice view but..
Old and dirty. Housekeeping is not done properly. You will have to ask a few times if you need anything. Old carpet not vacuumed Don’t expect them to restock your minibar. Food is below average.

The property is stunning. It shows its opp beach but we couldn’t find any access. Evening dining staff was very good - couple of asian girls looked after us really well. There are very limited vegetarian options at the pool bar and at their in house Terrace restaurant. The service could have been better. Every in room food service had a $8 delivery fee. We ordered 3 times in a day so that doubled the price of the dish. After the room was cleaned there were no fresh towels replaced. Advised housekeeping that we need to head out and need to get shower prior and to deliver the towels asap - took them an hour and we had to leave without the shower. House keeping service was too slow.

Fantastic service, really professional friendly staff and wonderful pool area. Brilliantly located right on the beach with direct access to a patrolled section for safe swimming. Dining option are great, suitable for anyone to stay. Nothing was broken, It’s magnificently clean. The rooms are lovely. The old girl just looks like she is ready for a fresh lick of paint and some aesthetic updates. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Best hotel at the GC right on the beach. Really relaxing place to visit but only a short walk from other restaurants if you want to eat out. Close to sea world and cruise options across the road.

We were a little disappointed for this 5 star hotel Sheraton Grand Mirage has rooms to improve on the flowing: The breakfast area waitresses were not quite friendly; The Wifi was not stable; There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom to get rid of the mist; the cloth line in the bathroom waa moulded and was too soft to hold anything wet; It would be better if the showerhead was a hand-held style instead of a fixed style; the bathrobes were too thick & too heavy to wear… The beds were too soft & pillows were very old and thin. The carpet was visibly dirty & the mirror next to the tv had a few black marks on it (for a moment I though I had black marks on my face….)

Good location albeit away from the surfers centre. Staff are generally friendly but some lack of service. The building itself need some update, room deco were tiring. Only one restaurant on site, food was average and limited choice and cuisine.

It was extremely run down. We paid close to $600 per night and didn’t expect it to be so old. There were stains on the carpet, peeling paint, rust, the carpet was peeling away due to its age, the edge of the carpet had loose threads coming away, I was bitten by some insect while in bed and have two red insect bite marks on my face, there was a cockroach in the bathroom, we were not offered slippers and I refused to walk bare feet on the stained carpet, no toothbrush or toothpaste, no bathrobe. It was like a 3 star hotel on 5 star price. Our room wasn’t made until the following day around 4:30pm when we all returned. We stayed in the room while it was being made. The only good thing is that the common areas looked nice and the scenery around the pool was excellent. I would not be returning.
