“Amazing Holiday”

We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was clean and the rooms were beautifully furnished. The treatments offered from the spa was excellent and was the perfect was to start your holiday after a long flight. The food offered by the hotel was varied and very enjoyable. During our time in Goa we went for a tour in old Goa for 6 hours and we went to visit a number of different temples and churches. This was excellent value for money and available outside the hotel gates. We would definitely go back to Goa and to this hotel the staff made our good holiday great.

“Simply lovely. Stay there.”

Lovely place. You can't go wrong. Stay there. Hints: (i) the restaurants lack atmosphere and are pricey. Go to others in the surrounding area, especially Fisherman's Wharf, only a 3 minute walk from hotel gates. (ii) Haathi Mahal Hotel up the road in Cavelossim does much much cheaper massages than you can get at the spa at the Leela. But the Leela is the place to stay. I am so glad I ignored the negative comments that others have posted.... and I'm a fussy traveller. We stayed in Conservatory Premiere room and Lagoon Suite (normal and later deluxe due to a power board blowing!). All lovely. The lower priced Conservatory Premiere room was luxury plus. Obviously the suites were too but i personally quite liked the cosiness of the smaller room. But it is all lovely. Just go there.

“outstanding hotel - very high quality”

I have travelled the world and rarely stayed in a better hotel in the context of the country in which i have been. The Leela is outstanding - luxury, service, food comfort - everything you need next to a beautiful white sand beach for a real break. The only downside is that the food and beverage are relatively expensive - given that eating locally in Goa is so cheap - but its a small price to pay for 5 star luxury - i would happily go back time and time again - they even collect you from the airport in an air con limo if you email them in advance. Don't hesitate - book it!

“Wonderful hotel”

My family's stay at the Leela Goa was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful, the hotel and its facilities were first class and the gardens and surrounding area were gorgeous. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone planning a holiday to Goa.

“great hotel”

this was a little wind down for us at the end of 2 weeks seeing other bits of southern india, the hotel was fantastic - stunning gardens, amazing rooms with a view over a picturesque lagoon. The food though pricey was superb, we went off season -middle of october so it was nice and quiet that was apart from the noisy electric change overs in the middle of every night. with it being goa the electric switched from normal power to the back up generator at around 3am each morning this means that the for around an hour the electric card reader flickered on and off. this was noisy and quite irritating esp in a 5 star hotel. other than that our stay was superb.

“Perfect honeymoon destination”

The hotel has wonderful gardens with a beautiful beach. The facilities are modern and the service is top class. All the common areas have a lot of charm and make you feel you are in a luxurious Indian resort. On the other hand we were less impressed by the rooms. The first night we slept in a room in which the balcony door was not closing properly and due to the high humdity ceilings and walls were getting green in some places.
