The main building was beautiful with high arched ceilings. It was beautifully decorated and fresh flowers daily. The water features were lovely, with some large fish in some. The restaurant we used was the large one down stairs. We used the smaller room off the main as it was air-conditioned and less busy. Our room was on the 3rd floor of one of the annexes, and was wonderful, - beautifully appointed, with a balcony overlooking the excellent pool. The staff were very friendly and gave excellent service without exception. The buffet dinners and breakfast were excellent. Sorry - keep repeating excellent but it all was! Loved the wonderfully maintained gardens. Also used the beach bar which was right on the beach and very friendly service (Must mention Dev who made me the best ever margaritas.) As we were at the end of the monsoon season, it wasn't doing food all day, but we tried a beach bar snack one evening before dinner and it was delicious.

I was here to Celebrate my Husbands Birthday. It was our First outing together and hence wanted it to be the Best Memory for our Life time. Which certainly happened with the help of: Ritu Ma'am (Head of Housekeeping Dept) Miss Josh (Sales and Event Dept) Mr. MINGUEL(Manager of Housekeeping Team) And last but not the least Miss Marlin (housekeeping Staff) This team made sure that every thing was upto the mark and kept upto my expectations. The Room decor was very nice simple and sober. My Husband Loved the Surprise. Thanks a Ton to the team for making may expectations come true without me being there to guide them. I would also Like to get into your notice about the restaurant an attendee named Melvin (Ala Cart restaurant) One of the best attendee you will find amongst the bunch of an Excellent Staff. Overall The Best Experience and Staff with a Gr8 location,amenities and Staff. Thank you all.. I hope we meet up soon Team...keeping my fingers crossed.

Caravela Beach Resort is wonderful, the staff was helpful, kindly talked to me , helping in any way they where able too. I felt comfortable staying alone in the Resort . I loved the food , breakfast was amazing !!!!

Property has breathetaking view. They charge money for guests to ch use hot tub. We were sold new year gala package without giving us a table. We had to fight with them to get a table at a reasonable spot since it was heavy entry fee for new year party. Staff was helpful overall un helping resolve issues as we encountered them.

Nice relaxing stay
Great overall experience. Whenever we needed anything the staff was very attentive and tried to help as much as they could. The wi-fi could have been a little better, but it wasn't a big deal.

Caravela is awesome
Beautiful pool , pristine private beach , great attention to detail with facilities & features provided and staff /service always with a smile & forever helpful. Great Buffet breakfast included with many live cooking stations & multi cuisine options to cover entire family & friends tastes , Buffet dinner & a la carte options were regular city prices so not hotel expensive .Only slight downside for some but what we wanted is that is away from the hustle & bustle so hailing bypass transport was harder but with apps was easy to book with goamiles or via hotel guest relations desk .free wifi - 2 devices per booking - mostly good but as widespread resort sometimes would drop out even though can see the resort trying with wifi boosters on trees etc .several activities on offer daily free to cheap including 9 hole golf with a caddy .we totally loved it & would definitely go again & next time for longer hopefully

I booked Deluxe Room and they gave me Garden View. The lady at reception desk who handle guest look like was acting smart by assigning garden view room to person who booked deluxe. may she got good commission who knows!!!! i will not recommend this resort

The property has an amazing sceneric view from every corner. The private besch was quite and clean and had lifeguards at all times. The pool bar was fun.

Staying at the Caravela Beach Resort was amazing. The staff were super nice and always made sure we had what we needed. They checked on us from time to time and engaged in conversation. Food was good, grounds are beautiful. Housekeeping staff was extremely friendly. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Goa.

Hotel was amazing, one of the best ever. Only problem was the location - it is a little far from some of the towns & taxi rides to there & the airport weren't cheap. But the hotel itself & the staff were magnificent. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely stay and warm welcome at Caravela
This is a beautiful property which is extremely well taken care of. Very clean and delicious food. The bakery onsite has excellent selection and freshest items everyday for breakfast. The continental food is specially worth mentioning...absolutely top notch! The staff is excellent at the restaurant, specially Sonika and Joseph who were mostly our servers. Chef Vishnu kindly made us a new dish when one of the dishes was not right and he also gave us another complimentary dish and desserts...excellent customer service. Everyone serves with a smile and it is a warm feeling that this property exudes. The rooms are a little small but they are clean and modern. The private beach was awesome and super clean. We love to swim and spent most of time in the waves. would definitely recommend this property

Service should improve
The beach was wonderful. The Sunset bar is on the beach so a great place to hang out. Room size was small and layout was a bit strange. There was little space to move around. Service could have been far better for a resort in Goa. What irked us is that they even have a charge to use steam and sauna. There were no activities even in this busy season.

The hotel was very nice and very close to the bea
We had a terrible experience checking in as our rooms were not ready and then when they were they were very dirty and had to be cleaned. After that and many complaints we had a lovely stay and the staff were great. Food was not good as there was very little selection and it was mostly curry. At the bar restraunts/cafes the wait for food was very long even though they had very few people to serve. The beach was not very accessible for the elderly as you had to go do a very steep sandy slope.

Terrible experience!! Everything was run down and falling apart! We paid extra for a suite but it was a total waste as despite the room being large, everything felt like it was old and badly in need of renovation.

The resort was excellent. You can just see the huge amount of effort all the staff put in to give you a great experience. The food and Chef Saurabh was amazing. We had a party of 25 people and never had a bad day. Well done!

My mom and I spend NYE at the property. Not only is the property beautiful, bright and airy, what really made the trip was how warm and hospitable all the staff were. I look forward to visiting again. Note if this is your first time to Goa, the hotel is a ways away from the main city and nightlife (at least an hour drive). It really is just a lovely beach get away if you need some downtime.

Very nice hotel close to beach
It was pleasant stay for two days. Very good staff and hospitality given was also very good. I was carrying 1 year baby specially for her food all was given complimentary. We would sure like to visit again with other family members. Two lady staff (sorry dont no there name exactly) at front deskhad helped us lot one for shifting room near pool side on our request and other lady had taken care of my kid comfort after checking out till our waiting period. Thanks to all for there service.

Nice Quiet resort
Nice, quiet resort that sits on an incredibly long beautiful beach. A bit far from local villages, but the seclusion is nice. Staff is great.. very responsive.

7 night stay in paradise
We stayed 7 nights in this resort and I can honestly say that it was a fantastic experience. We checked in after a long and hot day and were provided with refreshments and a cool wet towel upon arrival. The facility is massive and the lobby is very impressive. The staff are super friendly and service minded. Special thanks to Pavani, Rhoditas, Rakesh and Gurmeet for making the stay extra special. The pool area deserves 3 hours or so a day spent there with a island bar to make it extra fun Bored at the pool? then do a short walk from the pool to the private beach through the garden. The beach is fantastic with a nice shack. However as the season hadnt started during our stay the beach shack was closed. We also decided to take golf lessons one day which would have been fun but the instructor didnt give us the full hour as promised and refused to admit so after as well. I wouldnt recommend the gold activity unless you are keeping strict time and making sure the instructor knows it.

Not worthy of a 5*
Good location and grounds but not to 5* standard. The dining areas were dirty and full of flies. Dirty tables, windows and floors. Breakfast was chaotic. Often, you would return to your table to find it occupied with other guests. Our room was clean but dated. This hotel needs a thorough clean and make over. We stayed over Diwali and it was noisy and full with young children and families. I feel this hotel is more suited for Indian families and seems to cater to their needs. I would not recommend it for young couples or single travellers. If you can afford it, go to the Leela or Alila Diwa.

We loved our stay. The hotel has a private beach access and a great pool with a bar in the middle. The room looked a bit old, but clean. Friendly staff willing to assist 24 hours.

Nice long weekend get away
Everyone at Caravela was great - special thanks to Monika (hospitality/dining) and Marcellino (dining). The room was kept in great shape by a hard-working staff. The only negative - maybe common in this part of the world - was poor sound-proofing between the rooms. This gives a reduced sense of privacy, and noise level in the evening. But all in all, a very good experience - we recommend it and would return. Thanks!

Very stressful stay
Room was not very clean. Full of misquotes. Took 3 days to take bleeping sound of phone. Took 3 days to listen to our complaints. Asked to change our room. No one listened to our requests. We're here to attend family wedding and to relax.

Expected more out of the price of the hotel. I had a bad experience to start with when they told me post arrival in Goa that there are changes to the booking I have made. Although they apologised later but it didn't start well with this '5 star' hotel
