We have really enjoyed our stay at the Edward Hotel. A short walk to the centre, and convenient parking on site. The property was well kept, as was the room. The room was spacious, quiet and the bed very comfortable. Would recommend.

Large well appointed and clean room. Excellent location adjacent to City Centre, Cathedral and Rugby Ground with parking on site. Only negative was fault with shower temperature controller which was not fixed for second night. Would stop again due to location and value.

Great accommodation
Arrived early to park the car in there car park and spend the day in Gloucester. Let them know I was leaving the car there and they said our room was ready and we could check in, so that was a bonus. The room was spacious, large shower room. Fridge, microwave and kettle was ideal if needed. Friendly service and knowledgeable about the local area and we was given a map with local sites and restaurants. Great pub 200yards away. Would defiantly stay there again if visiting Gloucester

This is an old quirky hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It is an easy walk into the centre and quay are. We had a superior room and having a fridge and microwave was great. We didn’t have breakfast as we had an early start the next morning.

Quiet and comfort near to Gloucester city centre.
This is a quiet, clean, friendly, small, privately run hotel within walking distance of Gloucester city centre and on a bus route. Each room has a fair sized fridge and a microwave so it is easy to produce a simple meal if you want to, although a good cooked breakfast can be bought very reasonably.

Felt like I was staying at a friend's house... clean, cheerful, no fuss, great hospitality, everything I needed. It was perfect for my needs... super comfortable bed and lovely warm duvet... walking distance from transport and amenities... quiet spot. Felt like home.

Fabulous hotel
The hotel is in an excellent location, the room we had was fantastic, very spacious and even had a little kitchen. Very clean, welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was really good and lots of options.

A little rabbit warren lots of steps up and down not good foe those with mobility issues unless you request in advance. Fridge in room very handy during heatwave clean and comfortable

Very nice and clean, affordable, great for a short stay. Super close to everything we wanted to visit, all within a 20 mins walk or so. Hospitable welcome by the host and yummy breakfast.

Gloucester Quays are well worth a visit!
The hotel was very welcoming. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. Parking was a bit tight, however, so get there early to get a decent space. However, with the Quays only a ten minute walk away, we didn't need our cars again until we checked-out.

Great central hotel for exploring Gloucester and beyond. Although on a main road we had a superior double room which was at the back of the hotel and had no traffic noise. Literally a 10 minute walk to the city centre. We had full English breakfast one morning which was delicious and well worth the £7.50 each.

The room was adequate and clean. Pillows were hard and unforgiving. The hotel was very accommodating and the breakfast was first class. I would use again.
