If you have been to a Best Western in the States, this is definitely not like that.

The hotel was very nice. Waking distance to the major squares in Genoa and shopping areas. Hotel next to a train station which was very convenient. The surroundings of the hotel were not the best.

Good stop over spot
This hotel is ok for a couple of nights stop over, but the room we were in was very smallso wouldnt recommend for long stays if staying for longer than that . Staff were fantastic and the hotel was spotless . Just a standard double bed in our room though.

Best western hotel, Genoa 🙁
Hotel was old and tired, but clean. My room smelled stale. Functional to sleep is best I can say. Also, like other hotels in Italy, they seem to put nationalities/races together.

Very convenient for Brignole station. The hotel was quiet and the breakfasts were fine. A pity the bar wasn't open of an evening.

Best Western Verdi is Great!
Arrived at 9 am and I was told that J could check in with my family. Staff is exceptional. They provided us not only an early check in but also free fridge bar with juice, water, soda and biscuits. They have a beautiful inside lift my kids wanted to ride all the time. The location is 100 m from the Brignole Train Station, and within the old town. Great place to find a little nice restaurant. If I ever return to Genova, I will stay there. They are remodeling the whole outside building.

A little bit of Genova
I just stayed overnight on my way to Florence but the accommodation was perfect for me,I was very happy to experience just a brief time in Genova and the hotel is in a great location.

Close to Brignole and within walking distance of most of Genoa's attractions. Older hotel with quaint elevator. Rooms have been recently modernised/updated. Smaller room is OK. Heating in winter should work better in rooms. Bathroom cold even with radiator on

Excellent stay
The hotel rom was. Verymodern, comfortablebeds and very clean. Thebathroom was also very clean, with fresh clean toeels and slippers. Affidge was supplied with free water and snacks. Locagion was excellent, right nexf to fhe train station and bus station.

Location is excellent. Across Brignole train and subway stations, taxis in front, buses too, restaurants all over, short walk to Piazza Ferrari, shopping, and other sites. Hotel smells and looks clean. Highly recommended. Reasonable rates. Safe area to walk at night. Would go back if we will be in Genoa.

Very convenient if travelling to Genoa by train or bus. Very clean quiet room and good breakfast. A bit of a walk to see the waterfront attractions and palazzos but the metro is nearby.

We stayed here for a weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they spoke excellent English. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was pretty good. The location is excellent, being right next to a key train station and close to a major shopping street.

Location location location to Train station, buses for sightseeing, shopping. Staff was so accommodating, very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was more than adequate with lots of choices. Dinners were the best. I highly recommend this hotel.

However the air conditioning did not work and although I asked them to fix it seems like no one bothered. Also the lock in the bathroom did not worked and they didn’t had a look on this matter either. Because was no ventilation system in the bathroom and the ac did not work the bathroom had a damp funny smell. The bed was very comfortable, great location and the room was spacious.

Room was clean, renovated, and very comfortable. Did not try breakfast since it was not included in price and there are so many cafes and restaurants nearby. Hotel parking was limited and expensive so I parked in public lot across the street.
