Nice and convenient 5 star hotel. It's all nice, but a little outdated, maybe remodeling, especially the lobby, would be a real upgrade to this already established palace in Geneva

The bath had paint marks and was not resolved during my stay. I had to phone to get the iPad working and we were not offered free city bus tickets. Breakfast tea was not great either. I have stayed there many time before under kempinski and standard was better then. Will consider alternative next time. For 5 stars hotel small details count.

The property is outdated, room is outdated. Toilet bowl clogged and makes a 3 minutes loud noise after flushing. Mattress is not premium just standard. I noticed an oily stain on the chair when we got there. For $700 a night I expected much better. Only credit I would give is the staff being nice and professional, housekeeping did a good job too. hotel restaurant is exaggerating pricey considering the portions.

Disappointing
Geneva is beautiful and would definitely return. The hotel was clean and staff were efficient. The room was good but not value for money, curtains were practically immoveable and there were six cheap coffee pods, no teabag options or creamers and a cup of tea was 11chf via room service not what we expected from a premium brand hotel. You could only sit in the lounge if you purchased something, a new experience for us…… The lake view from the lounge is obscured by some superfluous architectural glass lean to which is sad as it takes away both the view and the light. Would try another less expensive lakeside hotel next time Disappointing 😐

Upon checking in we WERE NOT notified that New Year's Eve festival would be taking place right outside the hotel. We were aware that there would be fireworks but did not know that a loud concert would take place until 3:00AM. Music was so loud that not even noise cancelling headphones helped. Had to leave for flight out at 5:00AM so got absolutely no sleep. Complained to management but they said we should have expected this since it was New Years Eve and refused to reimburse us for the 1 night stay. Completely unacceptable to not be able to get some sleep in your hotel room!

No Shame for Kempinski.
It was great, but Kempinski and hotels.com destroyed our Christmas . We booked 3 days on accident within 10’min of booking our vacation we called hotels.com to cancel 2 days. We wanted to stay only one night in Geneva, Switzerland. Kempinski denied our cancellation even hotels.com . Kempinski said they cannot refund even though we checked out. Also I saw many people complain while we were trying to check out. They Had so many clients they could’ve booked our two nights to someone easily. Very upset at Kempinski always went to their hotel even in Germany when I traveled from USA. I am very upset and will never ever stay at Kempinski again. Four Seasons hotel see you soon.

excellent restaurant
Location is alright, not the best, but a balance between price and location. Gym Facilities are in very good condition. Room was clean and furnitures were in good condition. The restaurant, Le Grill is probably the best restaurant that you can find in Geneva. I had a few dinner over there and food were all cooked with high standard. Just the wine was a bit over priced.

Beautiful Geneva and a wonderful hotel
Wonderful with great rooms and a fabulous pool. The Sunday brunch was incredible. Only downside was there was no milk in the room so I ordered hot milk for two people to have with our coffee and was charged CHF 22 which was an incredible shock. Everything else was amazing. Views from the hotel are breathtaking. Definitely a great hotel to stay in.

Lovely hotel on Lake Geneva
We had rooms with a direct lake view. The hotel was a fantastic place to stay. The service personnel were all friendly, helpful and professional.

Room safe did not function - was reported but never fixed during the stay. Thought the number of birds flying round the breakfast room unhygenic as they were settling on the tables and chairs

The Hotel is in a fantastic location facing the lake. The food and drinks are very good and the hotel is very clean. The beach bar was on day 1 a great place to eat and relax especially as it was 33 degrees. However on Saturday Day2 this was closed as was the main lounge and bar area, leaving us no place to relax and enjoy a cocktail. This was due to a staff event being held in the hotel. As this was not relayed to us we felt that we could not enjoy the facilities as advertised which was the reason for picking a prestigious hotel with a great view. The staff were very abrupt when we questioned this and dismissed us very quickly. We eventually went to the Hotel next to ours for drinks in their bar.
