We used this hotel as our base point for a 2-week trip in and around central Europe. It was near the main train station, with a great room for the money as it was clean, spacious and offered many amenities we needed.
Our only concern was the heat in the room. We could not control the warmth and needed to open the window to get some relief. We had stayed in 2 different rooms, and both were much too warm for a comfortable night's sleep. Perhaps being from the Canadian prairies made us more uncomfortable with the high heat though :) The moose statue outside the entrance wrapped in a scarf made us feel quite at home as the scarf bore a striking resemblance to a Canadian flag.
The proximity to Romer Square and the riverwalk was very walkable, as was the distance to a Hop-on-Off stop for easy navigation.
Otherwise, it was an excellent choice, the staff was friendly and the views were wonderful.
