We loved it here. Our rooms were beautiful and we enjoyed using the pool. It was easy to catch a bus into Florence and the managers were really helpful with all of our questions. Finally, we loved the breakfast each morning, and we enjoyed a nice dinner poolside our first night.

Unfortunately it is very difficult to find the property, we spent 90 minutes driving around. When we finally got there we encountered zero empathy for the pain to reach them, the room didn't have the specifications required (separate beds) and we didn't feel welcomed. We decided not to stay and left.

This property was stunning. Amazing views of Florence and beautiful property. Out of the busy city and only a few minutes in to town. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Danielle, lucila, franchesca and all the stuff were absolutely magnificent, helpfull and took care of everything. Breakfast is super, the resturant was great! And the best is the view, maybe the greatest view in firenze. Thank you, i will defenitly come back

Very nice place. Booked because of the positive reviews and the place did not disappoint! Lovely setting on the hillside, build mostly in natural stone. Nice setting by the pool for breakfast / restaurant. Spacious room (suite) with great views. Very friendly staff and atmosphere! Would certainly come again!

We loved everything about our stay. Our only regret is we wished we were able to stay longer. Beautiful hotel, very professional and accommodating staff. Amazing views of Florence from the rooms. The restaurant is fantastic!

This was the most amazing experience!! From the moment we arrived in the evening and we met Irene our host to the very end. The property is simply a dream. From the view at the top of the mountainside, from your room, by the pool. If you are looking for an intimate hotel setting with personalized service where you can relax and feel at home on vacation. This is the place for you. The staff is truly amazing. They can’t do enough for you. The breakfast is so good, the young woman making the breakfast is so sweet. She does everything to make your morning delightful. My husband and I are already planning our trip back to the Eden Rock Resoer!

The moment we entered the garage and was met by an employee we knew this hotel was going to be excellent. We were shown around the hotel by the employee and she booked us in no trouble. We got to our room and was advised we could use a Samsung smart phone to use as a guide around Florence and provide information on the hotel. Amazing service. The junior suite was gorgeous. It had its own coffee machine in the kitchenette. The lounge/dining area was spacious with a leather sofa and dining table. A DVD player and sky TV. The bathroom was spacious as was the bedroom. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and it was excellent and good value for money. I would certainly come here again and highly recommend.

The resort is in a wonderful location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything about the stay was perfect. We only stayed one night, I wish We would of stayed here during the first half of our trip vs in central Florence. I can’t recommend this resort enough. P.S. - They had the most comfortable beds we slept in during our 8 day stay in Italy.

We were a family of 4 and stayed at this wonderful hotel for 3 nights! We travel often as a family and for business (traveled to Italy about 20 previous times) and this hotel stands out as one of the most comfortable, well appointed, and well situated for easy access to the the center of Florence. But the most wonderful part of our stay was the staff!! Walter, Daniele and the wait staff in the breakfast room and restaurant were simply the nicest, most helpful, accommodating and appreciative staff we have ever met!! We were given great tips for seeing the sights that we were never made aware of the three previous times we have traveled to Florence, as well as rides to the bus daily!! This is a must stay!! We will return undoubtedly!

Resort rooms have a beautiful outlook over the Tuscany countryside and view of Florence, including the famous dome. We received a free upgrade, and the staff graciously drove us to a nearby bus stop after our checkout. Amazing beds and delicious breakfast!

Just an WONDERFUL PLACE and the staff was INCREDIBLE especially Danielle - Walter and Dario they were exceptional and went above and beyond our expectations - we loved the spacious room - the pool and the location - just a 1.5 Euro bus ticket into town - WE WILL be back and already miss being there!

The best meet and greet we have ever arrived to.
Upon arriving at Eden Rock, at approximately 9:30pm, we were greeted at the parking garage. The bags were immediately taken to our room while we checked in. The kitchen was closing at 10pm and they ensured that we had dinner available no matter the time. The staff treated up like royalty from the time we arrived until we checked out. I would highly recommend this hotel. The view, the accommodations and especially the staff will make you glad you chose Eden Rock Resort.

Amazing. If you're going to Florence, stay here!
This was by far our favourite hotel to date. We loved our stay here and the food and service were outstanding. If we ever take another trip to Florence, we will without a doubt be booking here. Firstly we were upgraded from a junior suite to a deluxe suite upon arrival. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and had spectacular views. I got the impression though that no room/suite would disappoint! The staff were extremely helpful and nothing seemed to be too much. The staff are on hand to give lifts to the bus stop at the drop of a hat. Make sure you take them up on the offer as the roads are treacherous to walk down (it's about 800m to the bus stop into Florence but the bus back stops right outside the hotel). We had our first evening meal at the hotel and were so impressed with the food and the service that we had our second and last evening meal here too. I highly recommend the selection of Tuscan meats platter as a starter to share. They also bring you a basket of fresh breads along with a local delicacy as an appetiser for free, the first night this was soaked breadcrumbs with vegetables and the second night was a garlic and parsley butter bread bites. The service was attentive and the staff shared details of the local delicacies etc. The pool is small but plenty big enough for the resort as there aren't many people around during the day to use it. The backdrop is outstanding and the stone walls of the hotel/hill side are impressive.

It was a wonderful trip overall. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was perfect for our family of 4 adults. The view from room and resort is outstanding! Breakfast very good.

I arrived the first night, and the TV doesn't work, I pay over $400 a night and can't even watch TV, then take a shower, the handle falls on my foot, and the bidet was leaking water. If the hotel understands service, they would of at least came up to room to try to fix it, it wasn't fixed till the following afternoon. If you are a hotel and your client TV is not working and they are paying $400 a night, let me give you a hint, get them another TV or another room. This is not good service that I had to wait till following evening for my issues to be fixed, and the hotel could of also at least compensate something because of the issues, absolutely nothing! Sad Service

Nice room, spacious but considering it was a suite no balcony. Shower was poor. Staff very friendly and helpful but were over whelmed in the restaurant. After waiting over 100 mins for dinner gave up and went to bed.

The hotel is only a few minutes outside of Florence, and the rooms have a nice view of the valley and the city. The staff...is...AMAZING. For such a small boutique property you could forgive them if they were understaffed or overwhelmed, but they are very well staffed and have a fantastic attitude in serving their guests. 5 Stars there! The rooms are modern, spacious (wow, in Europe, elbow room?) and the air conditioning worked perfectly and quietly. Dinner was also absolutely amazing, made in their small outdoor kitchen just for guests only. We will absolutely be back!

Excellent hotel. Expedia should take out Air Conditioning for the room amenities as we found out the hard way (in Padova) that Italian law stipulates that A/C cannot be turned on until May or late April. We did select this hotel based on the A/c working. Expedia please reword your advertisement saying - seasonal A/C as you are miss selling the hotel. Apart from the A/C everything was fine. The guy in reception, Alessandro, the lady who was there in the Antares during breakfast and the gardener were extremely helpful and polite. We didn't meet anyone else. Breakfast and dinner were good. Pool is not heated. The location is one of the best we have stayed. Car parking is very good (chargeable). This has beautiful views over Florence.

Gorgeous views
Beautiful place. Very unique. Definitely worth staying outside city center for those views! Staff was very nice and accommodating. However it is a small resort so at times there was nobody at the front desk for example. And we had breathtaking views from our balcony, but I think because of the balcony we also had some ants in our room. All in all one of the best hotels I've stayed.

The best way to relax in Florence
Was a little concerned staying outside Florence but the 10 minute taxi ride was always worth going to this little paradise. Beautiful setting where you can see Florence from above. Large rooms with great balconies. Staff were the best and always willing to help. Breakfast by the pool is magical. We will go back again an again!

I could not recommend the hotel enough. The view is amazing, I have never seen anything like it! The staff were all so friendly and lovely, we felt so welcome and truly enjoyed every minute. If you have the chance to go, do it! You won't regret it!!!!!

Beautiful location with easy access to Florence
Stayed at Eden Rock for four nights in May. I wanted a location outside of the city but still with access to Florence. While the facilities were very good by far the best thing about Eden Rock was the staff. From the reception staff to the waiters, everyone was exceptional. The waiters we're passionate about the local cuisine and wine, providing great recommendations. The reception staff drove guests to the bus stop to Florence. Room was very nice the view from the room and grounds beautiful and the pool area relaxing. The food was regional and excellent. I had intended to eat dinner in Florence most nights but found I much preferred eating by the pool at the hotel. One note is that the hotel is perched on a steep hill on a busy road so if your plan is to go for long walks in the country this likely won't be for you. But for me it was a perfect combination of having easy access to Florence but not staying in Florence

Stayed in the panoramic suite of the resort. The suite was large, with a big balcony with views over Florence to die for. Staff was very helpful and polite at all times - specially mentioning Daniele, Alessandro and Walter. The centre of the city was a short hop and skip by car. All in all, a very pleasant stay. I would happily recommend the hotel to family and friends.
