The stay was good, the location was good near the train station. Unfortunately the cost was high, maybe due to some event in Leuven at that time, although this is not justified in my opinion. Ibis budget should not raise the cost beyond a certain amount (it should be below 50 Euro/night in all circumstances) as it offers a very basic accommodation.

The property is very beautiful, and it's in an excellent location. The only challenge is that every time I use the Ibis staircase there is a foul odor around the ground-floor toilet that spreads to the corridor and ceases as soon as one gets to the reception. It was consistent for the six days I stayed. I complained at the reception.

Basic and scruffy
If you just need somewhere cheap to put your head down at night, this hotel is fine! Very basic as expected for the price. Walls super-thin, you can hear absolutely everything from the rooms next door, even farts! Sheets are rough and poor quality, and don’t look too deeply or you’ll notice all the grot!

It is quiet despite being near to a train station( you can’t really hear anything) the only noise I had was from disrespectful guests in the alley Breakfast was more then decent. It would be nice if there was a phone in room to talk to reception. Bed was very confortable but room was very small if you have a big luggage you will suffer… it is a budget hotel so don’t except too much but the location is awesome very close to centrum.

Leuven is great
Location is excellent. Very close to the Leuven train station. Immediately turn left when you descend the train platforms and you will see it on your left outside the train station. Bed and beddings - extremely comfortable. The concern is the board over your head. I hit my head on it twice. Kettle and cups- No kettle or cups in the rooms but there is a cafe in the hotel. Supermarkets. There are two great Supermarkets when you descend the steps towards the train station and turn left immediately descending the steps. Leuven is close to Brussels and Brussels Airport on train, about 30 mins. During weekends, it is better and cheaper to buy weekend pass. On week days, it is also better to buy return ticket rather than single. The difference is only 0.50c

The staff was really friendly and accommodating. Nice views over the city. The room was small, but neat and everything was clean. The bed was nice and comfortable.

Very handy for the railway station. Rooms clean, quite small and basic. Shower good. Very warm, even in September. No aircon, but also no fans available. Comfortable bed.

For the price this hotel was excellent. Property was clean and staff very friendly. Location right next to train and main bus station perfect. Next to shops and restaurants. City center 10 minute walk. only negative is shower door opening directly into room. Would definitely stay again.
